In-stock nao: Panasonic FZ300 superzoom for $600

I never got around to posting an in-stock alert for the new Panasonic FZ300 superzoom (a RAWzoomer since it takes RAW), so here it is! The camera is in-stock and ready to ship at its starting price of $600 at Amazon (Amazon itself, and 3rd-party sellers) and Adorama and B&H Photo. You can optionally triple the warranty via mail-in rebate.

PS: why not just offer a three year warranty to all buyers or at least make the rebate an online submission? Staples has been using online (Easy Rebates) for many years now, and they work very well.

Case Logic DCB-304 compact case for $11

This missed the window for yesterday’s Bag The Bags segment but it may not last long enough for the next edition, so here it is. It is the Case Logic DCB-304 compact case on sale for $11 at Target (free store pickup a possibility) and Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon by Amazon itself where it averages 4.5 out of 5 based on 3700+ customer reviews and has 530+ questions answered. 530 questions for an $11 camera bag? I thought I was OCD 🙂

No one offers unconditional free shipping, but depending on the retailer and your location you may get free store pickup (eg Target), or the order total (Target $25+, B&H $49+, Amazon $35+) or membership status (Prime gets free 2-day).

At some point before, the AmazonBasics DSLR backpack dropped from its $30 price to $25. So this is a “I Just Now Realized It” type of thing. It averages 4.5 out of 5 with 3600+ reviews and 150+ questions answered. This is currently in the top 5 of best selling camera bags over there (based on what their computers have categorized as camera bags. This should not be confused with their newer DSLR + Laptop model which goes for $35, both part of a growing AmazonBasics line-up.
