Next up in used prices are around $1200 at Amazon Warehouse Deals which may be too close to the new condition price for many people.
NEW CONDITION FUJI X100F
But if you prefer the new condition model at authorized dealers, fear not! It’s in-stock at multiple places at its normal price of $1300 as follows:
If you are interested in buying the Fuji GFX-50S medium format camera body-only kit in new condition, AND you have a serious DSLR or mirrorless or medium format camera you are willing to part with, Adorama has a Fuji GFX-50S Trade-In Promotion.
You can only trade-in one of the cameras listed in the aforelinked promotional page. They are serious cameras, for example, among Canons, it starts with the 6D and goes up to the 1D*; among Nikons it is D600 and up, among Sonys it is Sony a850/900, a7* and up, and so forth. Some medium format cameras are also eligible. See the complete list in this PDF file (direct link to PDF file).
I haven’t done this promotion, but based on the Promotional page, the steps are these:
- fill in your information in the Trade-In form
- send your used camera to Adorama
- after Adorama receives your used camera and evaluates it, they will send you:
- a check for the value of your used camera
- a coupon code that gets you $650 off the purchase of the Fuji GFX-50S
- using the coupon code, you can them purchase the GFX-50S for $650 off its current price
Four different color schemes of the Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 instant camera are bundled with a 10-pack of instant film, together going for $55 with free shipping by Amazon itself where they average 4.5 out of 5 based on 400+ customer reviews. This is not a lightning deal.
There are multiple new condition Fuji X-T1 with free 35mm f2 R WR lens promotions currently running, but if all you want is the X-T1 camera body and don’t want/need the 35mm f2 lens, you can go the used route for the X-T1 body only.
At B&H Photo prices start at $560 with free expedited shipping in 8+ condition.
At Adorama [page down to see the options] prices start at $539 plus shipping (over $10 for the slowest shipping method).
Both B&H and Adorama offer 90-day warranties of their own for used cameras they sell on their respective websites.
If you are a more high-risk shopper, at Amazon Warehouse Deals you can get it seller-refurbished for $480 by 6ave, or for $489~ in “Used – Good” condition by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself. There are no promises of warranty, but they have a return policy.
If you were tempted by the Fuji X-T1 Graphite but couldn’t justify the $200 more than the standard body only, this new promotion running right now that gets you a free Fuji 35mm f2 WR lens with purchase of select X-T1 kits may do the trick or help convince the Spouse C.F.O. With this promotion, $1000 gets you the new condition Fuji X-T1 Graphite body only along with the Fuji 35mm f2 R WR lens.
As of the time of writing, this combination is in-stock and ready to ship with FREE Overnight shipping at Adorama along with $40 in promotional rewards (to be spent in the future at Adorama). The free Overnight shipping promotion is shown on the product page as follows:
The same price and promotional rewards are available at B&H Photo with free standard shipping.
On the other hand, the shipping estimate is “ships in 1-2 months” at Amazon by Amazon itself
On the other hand, if you prefer to get the Fuji X-T1 with both the 18-55mm f2.8-4 R LM OIS lens and the 35mm f2 R WR lens (as part of the free lens promotion), and you want to receive it quickly, it is currently in-stock and ready to ship with free expedited shipping at Adorama along with 4% promotional rewards which come out to about $48 (to be spent in future Adorama purchases).
UPDATE: it is also in-stock for the same price and with 4% rewards at B&H Photo.
If you are an Amazon fan, it currently has the nebulous “ships in 1-2 months” estimate.
The Fuji X-T1 with the FREE 35mm f2 lens has propagated across the internets, and if you want to get it right now, the Fuji X-T1 body only with the silver 35mm f2 R WR lens is in-stock and ready to ship at Amazon by Amazon itself for $800 with free shipping. The kit with the black 35mm f2 lens is “Usually ships within 1 to 2 months”.
If you don’t want it immediately, you can get it for the same price with free accessories (Corel software, 32GB Lexar SD, extra battery, Lowepro bag, etc) at Adorama where it is in “Temporarily On Backorder” condition but you can still place an order and lock up the price.
PS: if you are a Prime member, one of the Prime Benefits is getting 5% back as a statement credit if you pay with either the Amazon Chase VISA credit card or the Amazon Prime Store card. It comes out to $40~ for this purchase.
The Fuji X-A3 with the 16-50mm lens goes for $599 at authorized dealers [see also the “Take Pictures With” section of the Mirrorless Price Charts], but for a limited time, an extra $100 can get you the two lens kit with the XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens for $699 total at B&H Photo. The offer is good for all three X-A3 body colors, but the 50-230mm lens is silver no matter what body color you select. The lens goes for $399 on its own.
But wait, there’s more! If you like some free accessories as well, Adorama includes a Lowepro shoulder bag, 16GB SD card, 58mm filter kit, Corel software and more for the same price of $699 in all three colors.
However, if you don’t want the 50-230mm lens, and you don’t want the extra accessories, and you are comfortable with used cameras, then:
CORRECTION: this is an f2, not f2.8 lens. The “R” confused me into thinking f2.8 🙂
Fuji temptation time! All four of the official Fuji X-T1 kits currently get a FREE Fuji 35mm f2 WR lens with purchase! The free lens will be included automatically by B&H Photo while this promotion is running. You know the promotion is running when you see the lens mentioned in the individual product page of each lens.
The four kits participating are the X-T1 body only for $800, the X-T1 with 18-55 for $1200, and the X-T1 with 18-135 for $1400. Also participating is the X-T1 Graphite body only for $1000.
But wait, there’s more! The free lens is also offered on some of the bundles with free accessories. The X-T1 Graphite Body for $1000 gets the 35mm f2 WR along with an extra Watson battery, a 16GB SD card, a holster bag, and a cleaning kit.
NOTE: some of the kits mentioned above earn 4% promotional rewards as well. Most of the kits that include free accessories don’t get 4% promotional rewards, except for the Graphite. Considering the price of the cameras, you can trade-off whether you want 4% to spend in the future or get the extra accessories. The free lens is included in all the kits while this promotion is running.
The Fuji X-T2 body only goes for $1600 in new condition at authorized Fuji USA dealers as you can see at the Stock Status Tracker but if you are comfortable with imported grey-market cameras…
… to the eBay Deals we go, where eBay seller “Deals All Year” (99.9%, New Jersey) is offering the new condition imported grey-market Fuji X-T2 Body Only for $1355 with free shipping and a 1-year warranty from the seller (not Fuji USA).
The Fuji X-T2 camera is not discounted. Camera manufacturer manufacturers are very protective of their price ranges in the MAP era after all. But if you happen to want to buy both the camera and its official battery grip at the same time, four of the four Fuji X-T2 kits are bundled together with the official Fuji VPB-XT2 Vertical Power Booster Battery Grip at B&H Photo at these prices:
+ X-T2 body with Grip for $1699
+ X-T2 w/18-55 and Grip for $1999
+ X-T2 w/35mm and Grip for $1996
+ X-T2 w/18-55 and 35mm and Grip for $2296
But wait, there’s more! The first two kits mentioned above (the two standard ones) are also offered at Adorama at the same prices, BUT Adorama includes additional freebies with purchase: 32GB Lexar SD, 24/7 holster bag, Corel software bundle, lens filter kit, and a few accesso-trinkets.
I just completed a full update of the Stock Status Tracker and the latest situation on the Fuji X100F is this:
+ as of 7/17/17 recheck, this SOLD OUT:
USED Fuji X100F Silver for $1100 at B&H Photo
As of 7/17/17 recheck, this SOLD OUT… For more options, check the Stock Status Tracker…
I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and this is the situation with the Fuji X100F Big Sensor Prime:
The Amazon Price Bots are at it again. The Fuji X-T10 body only in the black color scheme is on sale for $599 with free shipping by Beach Camera and Photo Craft through Amazon. Prime members can get the Beach Camera shipment with Prime-like speed, but the order ships from Beach Camera.
The Cardinal Photo Amazon store (aka the B&M retailer Cardinal Camera) has two units available of the Fuji X-PRO 2 body only for $1499 with free shipping through Amazon. This ships directly from Cardinal and it is not Prime eligible. Cardinal is on the Atlantic side of things.
If of all the Fuji X system cameras it is the X-T1 body only the one you want, it is currently available in used condition starting at $630 at B&H Photo with free expedited shipping. This is a Condition 9. They also have higher and lower conditions. Make sure to check under the “In the Box” section for each individual used listing to see which ones of the original accessories are included. The included accessories affect price and you may or may not need them depending on what other accessories you already have.
Used products sold at the B&H Photo website come with a 90-day warranty from B&H Photo, not the manufacturer.
On the other hand, if you prefer refurbished, and want the 18-55mm F2.8-4.0 lens as well, the X-T1 with 18-55 kit is offered in Certified Refurbished condition by Dealfisher fulfiled by Amazon for $855~ with free shipping. Since it is fulfilled by Amazon, it is Prime eligible, and it ships from Amazon’s warehouses, which makes potential returns and customer service more streamlined since you deal with Amazon, not the 3rd-party seller.
Note that “certified refurbished” is an Amazon term as it refers to products sold on their website under the “Certified Refurbished” banner. Among others things they offer a minimum of a 90-day warranty. This is Amazon’s Help Page on certified refurbished. And this is a listing of Certified Refurbished products on their website.
Note also that “certified refurbished” does not necessarily mean “manufacturer refurbished” in Amazon’s “certified refurbished” context.
The silver Fuji X100S Big Sensor Prime has been harder to find in-stock for $1299 at recognizable online retailers, but as of the time of writing, two sellers have it in-stock and shipping for $1299, Kenmore Camera on eBay (one left) and Best Buy on eBay (limit three per buyer).
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
The Fuji X-T2 body only goes for $1600 on its own [see Stock Status Tracker], but for a limited time, the body only is bundled with the official Fuji Battery Grip for just $100 more. On top of that, Adorama is bundling extra freebies, a 32GB Lexar SD card, a camera bag, the Corel software bundle (three of the five software titles are photo/video related), and a few more accessotrinkets (card wallet, card reader, cleaning kit). All this for $1696 with free expedited shipping.
It’s finally back in-stock! The new condition Fuji X-T2 with the 18-55mm kit lens is in-stock for its starting price of $1900 at Amazon by Amazon itself which is restricted to Prime members, but there are also a variety of 3rd-parties through Amazon that are not restricted to Prime members. Their shipping estimate is later than Amazon since they don’t offer Prime shipping.
For all the options, check the just updated Stock Status Tracker.
An update of the Stock Status Tracker is in progress. The Fuji X-T2 Graphite body only remains out of stock in new condition, but if you are comfortable with USED cameras, there are two used listings of it at Amazon Warehouse Deals by Amazon itself (their used subsidiary) for $1540 with free shipping in “Used – Like New” condition. Both have descriptions, and one of the two has actual pictures of the used cameras. As usual, used camera supplies are typically limited, especially for hard to find cameras.
This begins a burst of Stock update posts after updating the Stock Status Tracker. We start with the Fuji X-T2 with 18-55mm kit, out of stock in new condition, but available in “Used – Very Good” condition (repackaged) for $1662~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself. This is Amazon’s own USED sales persona, not 3rd party sellers.
Various options are available for the Fuji X-T2 body only during this update of the Stock Tracker.
And now we have updated the Fuji X100F segment of the Stock Status Tracker. The black X100F is out of stock everywhere at $1300, but some places sell it with the usual “limited availability premium”.
However, we have good news for the silver X100F. It is in-stock and ready to ship for $1300 by Best Buy (eBay) with a limit of three per buyer.
Also, if you are a fan of eBay auctions, one individual (100%, West Virginia) has an eBay AUCTION for this. It is currently at $920 with 28 bids and the auction closed on Thursday at 9:25pm ET. The condition is USED with 280 shutter actuations. Half a dozen pictures of the actual camera are also included in the listing.
As of 5/31/17 re-check, this is sold out…
If you are interested in the Fuji X100F, as of this Stock Tracker update, the situation is this:
This may be a computer-generated price-match, so I don’t know how long it will last, but the new condition Fuji X-T2 body only is not only in-stock but it is also down to $1516 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three per customer.
If you are a more adventurous shopper, you can get it for $1499 by Cardinal Photo through Amazon (not Prime eligible).
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
If you find these posts useful, please consider making your purchases through the affiliate links in the various blog-posts here and in the Sidebar. We only have one ad-box and that’s it, no other forms of annoying and super-annoying advertising.
Also, if you are going to repost this on other websites or forums, please include a reference to where you found it 🙂
Here’s evidence to make sure I’m not hallucinating early in the morning 🙂
Some of the colors of the new Fuji Instax Mini 9 instant camera are in-stock and ready to ship for $68 to $70 at Amazon.com, some by Amazon itself, some by 3rd-party sellers. Check the various colors and detailed listings for each to see all available options. There are five color schemes for the camera, handy if you want to easily be able to tell who owns which model 🙂
The new square format Fuji SQ10 hybrid (digital and instant at the same time) is now in-stock and ready to ship for $279 with free shipping by Roberts thru Amazon. This is not Prime eligible, so you get slow free shipping unless you $upgrade$ to faster shipping. As of the time of writing there are five units available.
These lightning deals ran out of light (aka expired)…
This was a very productive update of the Stock Status Tracker as it produced a handful of In-Stock Alerts, including the new condition Fuji X-T2 body only going for $1600 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three units per customer. A 3rd-party seller (Wolfe’s) has it in-stock as well among those in the detailed listings.
Or if you are a fan of used, the X-T2 with 18-55 is currently available used for $1662. Keep in mind, used quantities are even more limited than new condition when it comes to “hard to find” camera gear.
If you are fond of used camera, the Fuji X-T2 with the 18-55 lens is available in “Used – Very Good” condition for $1662~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals actual. The new condition price for this kit at authorized dealers is $1900. The description is very spartan in this case…
The floodgates have finally opened for the Fuji GFX-50S, it is now in-stock at multiple dealers for its starting price of $6500 including Amazon itself and various 3rd-party sellers over there, along with B&H Photo and Adorama. When you expand the yellow “Special Offers” section at Adorama, they have a variety of combined purchase discounts if you buy the camera with various lens adapters and accessories.
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
It is pure coincidence that I’m updating the Stock Status Tracker on Mondays, it’s supposed to get updated a lot more often, but time seems to fly faster and faster these days. Anyway, enough meta-talk, to the Fuji X100F-landia we go…
… where the Best Buy’s eBay store has the silver X100F in-stock for $1300. Limit three per buyer per the listing page.
On the black X100F front, Amazon itself has a May 18 in-stock estimate as of the time of writing. Keep in mind these estimates change over time…
If you are a Prime member and pay with either the Chase Amazon VISA credit card or the Prime Store credit card, you will receive 5% back as a statement credit, which is no small change, it is $65~ given the current price.
If you are not a Prime member, and you pay with the Chase Amazon VISA credit card you get 3% back as a statement credit, around $39. Citibank’s Forward credit card used to offer 5% on Amazon, but unless you are in a grandfathered card that wasn’t switched over, they no longer offer it (as far as I can tell).
On the other hand, if you are a fan of buying used from eBay, an individual has a USED (eBay Auction) that ends on Tuesday at 10:30pm ET. As of the time of writing, the auction price is $1125 with 29 bids. Shipping is $12 from the state of MA.
UPDATE 5/13/17: the previous listing is sold out but there is a black X-T2 body only kit in the same condition going for the same price. The link below has been updated…
The new condition price for the Fuji X-T2 body only is $1600 at authorized dealers, but if you are comfortable with used camera gear, you can get it in “Used – Demo condition” for $1450 plus shipping at Adorama [UPDATED!]. Used camera gear at Adorama come with a 30-day return policy and a 90-day Adorama warranty. Shipping starts at around $15 and varies slightly by zipcode.
PS: USED items are not eligible for free 2-day shipping and extended returns of the Adorama VIP360 service (their Prime-competitor service). VIP360 also offers a free metal print from AdoramaPIX.
The brand new Fuji X100F is slowly getting released for $1300 [see Stock Status Tracker] but if it’s the X100T the one you want, it currently goes for $1100 bundled with a Rode VideoMic Pro R Mic for $1099 with free shipping at Adorama and B&H Photo.
Or if you are a Prime member paying with either the Amazon Chase VISA or the Prime Store card, you can get $55 back as a statement credit thru Amazon.
If you prefer to buy camera gear from Amazon itself, not from 3rd-party sellers, Amazon itself has the Fuji GFX 50S medium format mirrorless camera in-stock for its starting price of $6500 with a limit of up to three units per customer.
If you are fond of buying from eBay, Kenmore Camera has it in-stock for $6500 as well.
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
