YMMV: 8% eBay Bucks (no min) until Friday night

This is YMMV as usual! The offer is being sent out via email and eBay messages, it is a new 8% eBay Bucks promotion, running until Friday 4/20/18 at 11:59pm pacific time. You must manually activate it before you earn the extra eBay Bucks. This has no minimum purchase amount. I do not know if every eBay Bucks member gets these offers or the eBay computers do their “targeting thing” (eg nudge people who haven’t shopped in a while to shop, and so forth).

A good place to look for ideas are the eBay Deals along with the Trending Deals (shows only 100 trending deals, less overwhelming to look at than their main deals page). There’s also a dedicated search box there that searches only the Deals, not everything else on eBay.

YMMV 6% to 8% eBay Bucks ($25+ minimum purchase)

UPDATE: some people are seeing 8% and 10% instead of 6% to 8%. Check your own eBay account to see which one you may have been offered…

Now coming out via email and eBay messages, is a new eBay Bucks promotion, running until 2/23/18 at 3am eastern. You must manually activate it before you earn the bonus which is 6% eBay Bucks on the website or 8% if you buy using the official eBay apps. There is a $25+ minimum purchase amount required for this iteration. I do not know if every eBay Bucks member gets these offers or the eBay computers do their “targeting thing” (eg nudge people who haven’t shopped in a while to shop, and so forth), thus the YMMV in the post title.

A new shopping week is here in the Office Depot Rewards offers, running between December 3-9 in 2017. You pay full price, and a few weeks later, you receive the price of the batteries as an Office Depot reward. This time it is a 100% Reward offer, not a 1c after Rewards. Hooray for a penny saved 🙂 Sales tax not rewarded as usual.

A few weeks later you will receive Office Depot-Max rewards of $15.98 in your online account per 16-pack. Sales-tax is not included in the rewards amount, that’s out of your pocket.

Please note that the combined Office Depot-Max rewards cannot be rolled like the old Office Max Rewards. You have to spend “fresh money” on these batteries if you want to get rewards back.

Some exclusions apply as usual and the maximum rewards you can earn is $100 per transaction, and $500 during the promotional period. The email title announcing this promotion is not as clear as previous ones, but it has “eBay Bucks” in it, so look for that if you are skimming or filtering eBay emails.

A good place to look for ideas are the eBay Deals along with the Trending Deals (shows only 100 trending deals, less overwhelming to look at than their main deals page). There’s also a dedicated search box there that searches only the Deals, not everything else on eBay.

YMMV eBay Bucks: 6% to 10% depending on purchase price

It looks like we may have a pattern here. The ebay coupon expired last night, and lo and behold, a new eBay Bucks promotion is running today. So they may be alternating? I’ll pay attention to see if this is an on-going pattern…

This is YMMV ~ I do not know if eBay offers this to everyone or a subset of their registered users. Good until Friday 3am eastern (6/23/17), you earn eBay Bucks on your purchases depending on the item purchase price. Items over $50 get 10% eBay Bucks, items between $25 to $50 get 8%, and items under $25 get 6%.

First you have to manually activate the offer from the eBay email or your eBay messages (if invited/selected to participate). Some exclusions apply as usual and the maximum rewards you can earn is $100 per transaction, and $500 during the promotional period.

One great way to take advantage of this promotion is the new condition factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8+ (Midnight Black) offered for $700 with free shipping by Samsung’s official eBay store. No contract, no obligation to any carrier, and you can use it on all four major US carriers (Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon) and their assorted sub-carriers (MetroPCS, Cricket, etc) and MVNOs (Page, Republic, TPO, etc). 10% of $700 = $70 in eBay Bucks to be spent in future eBay purchases!

Duracell Coppertop Battery Rewards return at Office Depot / Max

It’s a new week and that means new Office Depot and Office Max Rewards Offers for their rewards members. Among this week’s offers, which run from Sunday AM until Saturday 6/24/17 11:59pm eastern (or store closing time if buying at B&M), is the return of the Duracell Coppertop Battery Rewards.

As before, you can buy one or two 16-packs of Duracell Coppertop AA or AAA batteries. You have to show them your Rewards number in-store or make sure it is included in your online shopping account. You pay full price plus sales tax. After a few weeks, you will receive the purchase price of the batteries (minus $0.01, minus the sales tax) as an Office Depot Reward which you can use in future purchases over there.

Valid in-store, online, by phone or fax. These rewards will be issued separately from the monthly rewards, which is good, because they are not subject to the sneaky $10 multiple restriction.

YMMV: 10% eBay Bucks (no minimum purchase)

This is YMMV ~ I do not know if eBay offers this to everyone or a subset of their registered users. Good until Saturday 3am eastern (6/17/17), you earn 10% eBay Bucks on your purchases. This time around there is no minimum purchase price per item. Even $1 items earn the bonus. First you have to manually activate the offer from the eBay email or your eBay messages (if invited/selected to participate). Some exclusions apply as usual and the maximum rewards you can earn is $100 per transaction, and $500 during the promotional period.

5% rewards at Rakuten with coupon

If you are a fan of shopping at The Rakuten (no, it’s not an anime show, it’s Buy.com’s parent company), coupon code REWARDME gets you 5% back in rewards at the Rakuten website. This is month-long coupon, it expires 6/30/17.

8% eBay Bucks with no minimum amount (YMMV)

This is YMMV ~ I do not know if eBay offers this to everyone or a subset of their registered users. Good until Friday 3am eastern (6/1/17), you earn 8% on items purchased during this promotional period. No minimum purchase amount for this offer, so even a $2 widget will get you 8% eBay Bucks! Duracell Batteries Rewards are back at Office Depot (Sun to Sat)

The Duracell Batteries Penny (+ Sales Tax) After Rewards promotion is back at Office Depot and Office Max stores. You can find the offer online at their Rewards page and in-store in their Weekly circular ad. The terms are as before, you can buy one or two 16-packs of Duracell single-use AA or AAA Coopertop batteries, and get back the purchase price (minus one penny) in Rewards a few weeks later. The Sales Tax amount is NOT included in the Rewards amount. Rewards do not roll over, so don’t pay with rewards if you expect to get rewards on the offer. These Rewards will arrive separately from their monthly rewards (a good thing because regular monthly rewards are only issued in $10 increments). Offer runs Sunday 5/21 until the close of business on Saturday 5/27/17.

(ENDED) 8% eBay Bucks with no minimum amount (YMMV)

This offer ended but eBay Bucks promotions along with coupons are recurring themes at eBay these days…
