Used Fuji X-T2 Graphite Body for $1540

An update of the Stock Status Tracker is in progress. The Fuji X-T2 Graphite body only remains out of stock in new condition, but if you are comfortable with USED cameras, there are two used listings of it at Amazon Warehouse Deals by Amazon itself (their used subsidiary) for $1540 with free shipping in “Used – Like New” condition. Both have descriptions, and one of the two has actual pictures of the used cameras. As usual, used camera supplies are typically limited, especially for hard to find cameras.

Now shipping: Ruggard Lynx DSLR + Laptop Backpacks ($50 to $70)

House brands are all the rage these days, for example, AmazonBasics expanding at an exponentially expansive rate. Yesterday we mentioned a Chromebook, so the Fairness Doctrine requires that we must mention a Windows device within 24 hours. Which is convenient because today the brand new Microsoft Surface Laptop (actual laptop with screen glued to the keyboard) has began shipping at various authorized dealers including the official Microsoft Online Store and B&H Photo and various at Amazon.

Some options may not be available in-stock at every retailer. Prices start at $999 (i5, 4GB RAM, 128GB, HD 620), then go to $1299 (i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB, HD 620), then $1599 (i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB, HD 640), and $2199 (i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB, HD 640). The Platinum color has all four configurations. The other three colors are only the i5/256. A cellular model is coming later in the year.

NOTE: this comes with “Windows 10 S” out of the box, but you have until December 31 in 2017 for a FREE upgrade to “Windows 10 PRO”. This is officially mentioned in the Surface Laptop specs [under the “Software” box]. Once you go Windows 10 PRO however, you cannot switch back to Windows 10 S.

In-Stock Alert: Google Photos Custom Photo Books

Among the Google I/O 2017 revelations was that Google Photos would begin offering the option to create custom photo books using your Google Photos photos. Now this new product is “shipping”. It is available in the latest Google Photos iOS and Android apps. Prices start at $10 for a 20-page softcover, and $20 for a hardcover. Shipping is extra because Amazon Prime does not work on Google 😉

Good news for all of you looking to find the Panasonic GH5 body only in-stock! As of the time of writing the camera is in-stock for its starting price of $2000 at Adorama and by a trio of recognizable eBay sellers, Samy’s Camera (eBay) (Southern California) and Kenmore Camera (eBay) (Washington, the Apple state) and Pixel Connection (eBay) (Ohio).

Meanwhile the estimate at B&H Photo is May 16, 2017, so if you are a B&H fan or have gift cards or rewards or store credit, that’s an option too. Keep in mind the “May 16” is an estimate and can change at any time as the estimates depend on various factors.

On the other hand, if you are a fan of buying used, you can get it for $1848~ in “Used – Like New” condition by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself. The listing says damaged original packaging, no cosmetic imperfections, and it has been tested and fully functional (not sure by who, and not sure how much the AWD camera testers know about customers). Amazon offers a 30-day return policy but makes no promise of a manufacturer warranty.

It is pure coincidence that I’m updating the Stock Status Tracker on Mondays, it’s supposed to get updated a lot more often, but time seems to fly faster and faster these days. Anyway, enough meta-talk, to the Fuji X100F-landia we go…

… where the Best Buy’s eBay store has the silver X100F in-stock for $1300. Limit three per buyer per the listing page.

On the black X100F front, Amazon itself has a May 18 in-stock estimate as of the time of writing. Keep in mind these estimates change over time…

If you are a Prime member and pay with either the Chase Amazon VISA credit card or the Prime Store credit card, you will receive 5% back as a statement credit, which is no small change, it is $65~ given the current price.

If you are not a Prime member, and you pay with the Chase Amazon VISA credit card you get 3% back as a statement credit, around $39. Citibank’s Forward credit card used to offer 5% on Amazon, but unless you are in a grandfathered card that wasn’t switched over, they no longer offer it (as far as I can tell).

USED OPTION
On the other hand, if you are a fan of buying used from eBay, an individual has a USED (eBay Auction) that ends on Tuesday at 10:30pm ET. As of the time of writing, the auction price is $1125 with 29 bids. Shipping is $12 from the state of MA.

Now shipping: Factory Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships

If you much prefer to get the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships factory unlocked, with Samsung USA warranty and in new condition, there are now in-stock and shipping in limited quantities at the Samsung USA website. The S8 goes for $725 while the S8+ goes for $825.

It is also available for purchase through Samsung Financing on 24-month installment plans with 0% APR on approved credit.

NOTE that with previous models (eg Galaxy S7), Samsung did not prioritize updates for the unlocked phones. For example, the S7 only just now is getting Nougat (7.0, not even the latest).
