A variety of topics are scheduled from the world of photography and other creative subjects, along with meta topics for creatives [eg, business, marketing etc as it pertains to creative …creations]…

Adorama is now running a mid-Winter Clearance sale because winter is here but a dream of spring is nowhere on the horizon 😉 Over 800 products are participating in the sale, which you can filter using the options on the left hand side and you can sort using the options on the main column (eg sort by price).

For fans of The Refurbished [a good name for a low-fi indie hipster band?], they have refreshed their refurbished sale with over 130 options, a third of which are Nikon cameras and lenses…

If you, just like cats, are a big fan of open boxes, they have also refreshed their open-box sale with over 5300 products available. You can use the various options on the left hand side to filter things by topics or brands of interest because it will take quite a while to go through 5300+ individual listings 🙂

Wedding photography classes sale at C-LIVE

It’s never too late to be preparing for wedding photography season, since rumor has it people get married all around the year 😉 Which brings us to the latest Creative LIVE sale, it is a Wedding Photography sale with the discount amounts varying by class. The price you see is the price you pay.

The sale includes classes from well-known photographers like Lindsay Adler, Robert Lim, Jasmin Star, Jirsa, Cincota and more. Topics cover most aspects of wedding photography but they also have more all-around classes like a “Bootcamp” and a “30 Days” class. There are many classes there, so many there are TWO pages of search results at the aforelinked page.

Speaking of weddings, the 2019 WPPI trade show tips off on February 25 in Las Vegas. Check the trade show calendar for the planned 2019 action…

I am too working on a wedding photography class, it’s a very niche topic but something I believe no one has paid attention to, “Wedding Photography with WebCams for couples married by an internet priest” 🙂

KEH coupon: 15% off select Canon and Nikon gear

It’s CaNiKoN time at KEH Camera! Coupon code CN2A gets you 15% off select Canon and Nikon camera gear over there. The coupon expires Sunday FEB-24-2019 at 11:59pm ET…

You can use the various options at the aforelinked page to sort products in different ways or filter them by type ~ eg if you are a Canon fan and you get physically sick at the sight of Nikon products ~ or vice versa ^_^

Used Nikon D610 body for $609, Manuf Refurb for $899

On the other hand, if you prefer a Nikon 35mm FF DSLR under $1000, Adorama is also offering the manufacturer refurbished Nikon D610 body only for $899 with free US shipping and a 90-day Nikon USA warranty… The new condition goes for $1500 at the moment…

OR at the other end of the price spectrum, the D610 body only goes for $609 in USED condition at Adorama… It comes with a 90-day Adorama warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee…

Kodak AZ652 superzoom (65X OIS, RAW) for $300

Adorama does not have conventional daily deals but on occasion they have “snapshot deals” which are limited time offers… One such offer running right now is the new condition Kodak AZ652 superzoom going for $300 with free US shipping… This has a 65x optical zoom with OIS (24-1560mm EQ, f2.9-6.7), 5fps, RAW but on a 1/2.3″ backlit CMOS, flip-out LCD, 1cm macro, EVF, Wifi, 400 CIPA, 21oz body-only, etc.

PS: for our younger viewers, Kodak is not a company created by the famous rapper to sell merchandise. It is an older company, based in upper New York state. The name though for camera marketing purposes is owned by one of the brand-remilking companies, not by the OG Kodak, and still not by the rapper Kodak 😉

The usual restrictions, limitations, etc apply. As always, be sure to read the terms/conditions of the various photo-print offerings since they are structured differently in terms of shipping and fees and such…
