The Sony RX100 V rawsumer goes for $1000 at authorized dealers, which are allowed to be bundle it with things. B&H Photo is bundling it with a $50 B&H Photo e-gift card.
If you prefer an accessor-a-palooza instead, Beach Camera thru Amazon offers a boatload of free accessories (including useful things like 64GB Sandisk Extreme SDXC and extra charger/batteries), and so does Cameta thru Amazon.
But if you prefer a lower out of pocket price, and you are comfortable with open-box, then to the eBay Deals we go, where the official Best Buy eBay store is offering it in open box condition for $80 with free shipping. Limit three per customer.
The sensors are increasing in RAWsumers, and so are the prices! Canon finally decided to go APS-C with their storied G-series. The brand new Canon G1 X III (aka third generation) has an APS-C sensor, and a pre-order price of $1300, both on the uptick. The lens glued to the body is a 24-72mm (eq) f2.8-5.6 with OIS.
Pre-orders are accepted at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon by Amazon itself where they have a late November 2017 release estimate.
This has been added to the New Cameras of 2017 were RAWsumers are making a late run in the year, seven new ones in 2017, versus eight new DSLRs and ten new mirrorless cameras.
Despite the new Fuji Instant Savings, the Fuji X100F holds steady at $1300 in new condition at authorized dealers. If you are comfortable with USED condition though, the price has dropped to $1137~ in both colors, by Amazon Warehouse deals itself. Other 3rd-party sellers there have it for less but if you are not familiar with them, it’s a higher risk!
As of the time of writing, both the Used X100F black and the Used X100F silver go for $1137.
As usual, do pay attention to who the actual seller is. The price alone should not be the sole determining factor!
The Fuji X100, in new condition at authorized dealers, holds steady at $1300 as you can see at the just-updated Stock Status Tracker. Some mild discounting can be had if you are comfortable with these options:
+ Amazon Warehouse Deals USED condition prices start at $1180 for the black color scheme
+ Imported Grey Market X100 Black for $1246~ with free shipping by 6ave with a 1-year seller warranty [not Fuji USA warranty]
As of late 10/11/17 re-check, both colors are back to their $650 usual price…

Four different Canon G-series rawsumers are part of the Canon Pumpkin Sale. We start with the Canon G1 X II, which goes for $650 with free shipping in new condition at authorized Canon USA dealers such as Adorama.
But you can get it in manufacturer refurbished condition for $480 with a 1-year warranty from the Canon USA Outlet store.
More action from the Pumpkin Canon sale, you can get the manufacturer refurbished Canon G5X rawsumer for $580 with a 1-year Canon USA warranty.
In new condition, at authorized Canon USA dealers, this goes for $730 with free accessories, eg Adorama.
The new condition Canon G3 X goes for $850 with free accessories at some authorized Canon USA dealers, such as Adorama. But if you are prefer a lower price, and you are comfortable with refurbished…
… you can get it in manufacturer refurbished condition for $660 at the official Canon USA Outlet with a 1-year Canon USA warranty.
The Canon G9 X goes for $400 in new condition at authorized dealers, while the G9 X II goes for $450. If you are interested in the first generation, an alternative may be to go the way of the refurbished, especially when you can get it in manufacturer refurbished condition with a 1-year warranty from the official Canon USA Outlet store.
This is part of the Pumpkin Spice Sale. Neither pumpkin, nor spice are included 🙂
The iPhone X ruined my joke for the Sony RX10 IV price, because it no longer costs twice as much as the iPhone 🙂 Regardless, bad jokes are not included with the pre-orders 🙂 Sony went the flagship smartphone route with separating the announcements from the pre-orders. So today is the day…
… pre-orders are now accepted for $1700 for the new Sony RX 10 IV 1-inch superzoom with RAW and much and more at B&H Photo and Adorama and Amazon itself.
If my without-calculator math is correct, this is the 13th RX-series camera, and all of them are still available for purchase. Check the most recent (July 2017) Fixed Lens Price Chart for the previous models (does not have RX0 and RX10 IV).
The Canon G9 X compact with RAW (previous generation model – see Fixed Lens Camera Price Chart for a refresher on Canon’s G models) goes for $400 in new condition at authorized dealers, while the G9 X II goes for $450.
If you prefer the G9 X (first generation), AND you want the Canon PIXMA PRO 100 printer, AND you don’t object to doing mailing rebates and spending AMEX gift cards AND you still want to end up paying $400 out of pocket, then …
… to B&H Photo we go where they bundle the black Canon G9 X (first generation) with the PIXMA PRO 100 printer and its trusty sidekick (50pk 13×19″ photo paper). You pay $749 at checkout, receive the order, make sure all is well, file the mail-in rebates following instructions and deadlines, and a few weeks later, you receive a $350 prepaid American Express gift card by mail, thus making it a very long sentence, and more importantly, a $400 after $350 MIR promotion.
On the other hand, if you prefer the G9 X II with the PIXMA PRO 100 and paper promotion, you end up paying around $30 more [than the price of the G9X II alone] after rebate. In either black or brown, the G9 X II bundle is $479 after a $350 prepaid AMEX GC rebate.
This round of PIXMA mail-in rebates expires 9/30/17. The prices of the cameras themselves and the bundle can change independently of the mail-in rebate amount which is fixed for the duration of this promotion.
PS: I have a feeling I could have written this post with fewer words but an attempt to optimize it typically results in 2-3 additional paragraphs 🙂
It’s interesting how the camera market can sometimes go in circles in some ways. The good old Olympus E-series fixed lens cameras of a decade ago may have found spiritual successors in the Sony RX10 series mayhaps, which brings us to a new addition to the line, the new RX 10 IV, available for pre-ordering on Thursday AM for $1700 at B&H Photo and Adorama et al.
One unusual accomplishment of the Sony RX-series is that every single camera in the RX-series remains a currently available. How much this is a sign of popularity and how much it is a matter of inventory, I do not know, but it still is something rare in the world of digital cameras.
This has been added to the New Cameras of 2017, making it the sixth RAWsumer of the year, and the most expensive of the lot so far.
As of a 9/13/17 recheck, this sold out… For future updates, check the A Stock Status Tracker…
The silver color of the camera is available in open-box condition for $1169 with free shipping by authorized dealer Samy’s Camera (eBay). This defeats the used non-open-box prices at other retailers.
The new condition models are steadily in-stock for $1300 at various authorized dealers.
RAWsumer temptations here we come! The new condition with USA warranty of the Panasonic LX100 compact avec RAWeaux is on sale for $560 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself. Limit three units per customer during this sale. This is not a lightning deal. Only the black color scheme (-K) is on sale.
NOTE: if you are wondering around at Amazon, make sure the one you get is the one sold and shipped by Amazon itself. There are also international versions for a similar price.
We finally completed the update of the Stock Status Tracker, which got interrupted by the refill of the refurbished Olympus store and by …lunch 🙂
The last of the notable changes since our previous update is the Fuji X100F big sensor prime. Both B&H and Adorama are currently out of stock (but you can still order them), but other authorized and recognizable sellers have them in-stock for their standard price of $1300 as follows:
+ silver new condition: Amazon and Others and OneCall and Best Buy (eBay) and BuyDig (eBay)
+ black new condition: Amazon and Others and Kenmore (eBay)
+ silver for $1125~ at Amazon Warehouse Deals by Amazon itself
+ black for $1137~ at Amazon Warehouse Deals by Amazon itself
It’s IFA time in Berlin, which means more new tech products from all directions. Especially, in the world of photography, since this is an odd year, so there’s no Photokina [see Trade Show Calendar].
Sony had a pretty successful RX-series of RAWsumers, case in point, as you can see at the Fixed Lens Cameras Price Chart all models continue to be available in new condition at authorized dealers!
So it should not be a surprise that Sony would decide to further expand the RX-series.
Which brings us to the new brand new RX0, an ultra-compact elementproof camera but with a 1-inch 21mp sensor, and a 24mm f4 Zeiss-blessed lens, RAW of course (it wouldn’t be an RX-series without RAW!), and various tempting video features. And an RX-series starting price of $700.
In new-typical Sony fashion, pre-orders are not accepted right away. It will be available for pre-ordering on September 5, 2017.
But there are detailed pages for it at B&H Photo and Adorama.
This has been added to the New Cameras of 2017 tracking page, making it the fifth RAWsumer to be introduced in 2017. Try to guess the other four before looking. But we don’t have fabulous prizes if you guess right 🙂
If you are a fan of the Canon Pixma AMEX mail-in rebate promotions, good until 9/2/17
8/31/17, you can get the new condition Canon G9 X Mark II bundled with the PIXMA PRO 100 printer and its trusty sidekick the SG-201 photo paper (50pk 13×19″) for $479 with free shipping after a $350 prepaid AMEX gift card via mail-in rebate at B&H Photo in the silver color scheme or the black color scheme.
If you are a fan of the Canon Pixma AMEX mail-in rebate promotions, good until 9/2/17
8/31/17 , you can get the new condition Canon G7 X Mark II bundled with the PIXMA PRO 100 printer and its trusty sidekick the SG-201 photo paper (50pk 13×19″) for $709 with free shipping after a $350 prepaid AMEX gift card via mail-in rebate at B&H Photo.
To the RAWsumer we go, where the Panasonic LX100 in silver or black is bundling with a trio of free accessories at B&H Photo for $648 with free shipping. The three freebies are a 32GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC card, a Hoya 43mm UV Haze filter, and a Ruggard (not to be confused with Rhaegar) Lyra 60 camera pouch.
If you prefer promotional rewards instead of free accessories, you can get the same for the same price and 4% promotional rewards (around $26 to be spent in the future) at Adorama.
Meanwhile at Amazon you can get a different set of freebies for the same price, sold and shipped by Beach Camera: extra generic battery, 32GB SD card, filter kit, camera bag, and various accessoro-trinkets…
… You still get 5% back as a statement credit if you are a Prime member and pay with either the Amazon Chase VISA or Store card, but you don’t get the free snack because it’s not sold and shipped by Amazon herself.
As of a 8/17/17 recheck, the $1103 price is no longer available…
Continue reading “(SOLD OUT) Used Fuji X100F Black for $1103”
The new update of the Stock Status Tracker has a new picture for the Fuji X100F.
USED FUJI X100F
In USED condition, the silver color scheme goes for $1099 + shipping at Adorama in “Used – Excellent” condition. Shipping starts around $13. Used items at Adorama come with a 90-day Adorama warranty and 30-day no-questions-asked return option. Keep in mind, used supplies are typically very limited so it may be sold out by the time you are reading this!
Next up in used prices are around $1200 at Amazon Warehouse Deals which may be too close to the new condition price for many people.
NEW CONDITION FUJI X100F
But if you prefer the new condition model at authorized dealers, fear not! It’s in-stock at multiple places at its normal price of $1300 as follows:
+ SILVER at B&H Photo and Amazon itself and various on eBay
+ BLACK at B&H Photo and OneCall and Adorama and Amazon itself
The Panasonic LX10 compact with RAW currently goes for $598 at authorized dealers, but at the moment you can also get a boatlaod of freebies at Adorama: the Corel software bundle (five titles including three photo/videos), a 32GB Lexar PRO SDHC card, a Lowepro Dashpoint 20 bag, a memory card wallet, and a cleaning kit.
In addition to the previously mentioned Panasonic offers, there’s one on the Panasonic FZ 2500 superzoom, you get a $100 store gift card with the camera going for $1098 at Adorama and B&H Photo.

On the other hand, if gift cards don’t tempt you, and you are comfortable with open-box cameras, they are also available in open-box condition (without gift cards) as follows: the open-box RX100 III goes for $637 with free shipping, and the open-box RX100 V for $850 with free shipping.
For a refresher on RAWsumer price ranges, check the Fixed Lens Cameras Price Chart.
I just completed a full update of the Stock Status Tracker and the latest situation on the Fuji X100F is this:
+ as of 7/17/17 recheck, this SOLD OUT:
USED Fuji X100F Silver for $1100 at B&H Photo
+ NEW condition Fuji X100F Silver for $1300 at Adorama and Best Buy (eBay) and Kenmore (eBay)
+ NEW condition Fuji X100F Black for $1300 at Amazon (3rd parties) and Kenmore (eBay)
The Canon G5X goes for $730 in new condition at authorized dealers (another one of the deals surfacing because of the Price Charts price-checking), but if you want to get it for less and you are not afraid of mail-in rebates and prepaid gift cards then…
… then to B&H Photo we go, where you can get the G5 X camera, along with the Pixma PRO 100 printer, and its SG-201 trusty sidekick paper (13×19″) for $650 after a $350 mail-in rebate (prepaid AMEX gift cards).
Canon currently has an elaborate G-series line-up, with all the odd numbers up to 10 included. All except for the G1X use 1-inch sensors. The G1X is a 1.5″. A total of six active models are currently available (because the G9X has two generations available).
PRO TIP on mail-in rebates: if the mere mention of a mail-in rebate has you changing colors and dropping your last meal on the floor, you may want to avoid them! You can get some really good deals, but if you really hate the idea of doing and dealing with mail-in rebate issues, you may want to prioritize your ease of mind over the deal 🙂
The Canon G9X (first generation) goes for $400 on its own, but if you are not a afraid of mail-in rebates and prepaid AMEX gift cards, and you need the Pixma PRO 100 printer and its trusty side-kick the SG-201 13×19″ photo paper, you can get them all together for $400 after a $350 mail-in rebate (prepaid AMEX gift card) at B&H Photo.
It’s the rise of the machine! The Amazon Price Bots are at it again, they have price-matched a 3rd-party seller, so currently the Ricoh GR II Big Sensor Prime is going for $569 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself. Limit three per customer. Shhhh, don’t tell the grown-ups 🙂 It currently goes for $659 at B&H and Adorama.
On the other hand, if you are fond of used cameras, used prices start at $479 plus shipping at Adorama.
PS: the $109 used price at Adorama is a much older model with a similar name, it is a 10mp 1/1.75″ CCD camera from way back.
I am currently price-checking cameras for the “Fixed Lens Cameras” Price Chart, and there are a couple of Panasonic 1-inch cameras with extras that are going for $648 with free shipping each, at Adorama.
The Panasonic LX10, the current “deputy” of the famed LX-series, is bundled with the Corel Software Bundle (five titles, three of which are photo/video), a 32GB Lexar SD card, a Lowepro DP 20 camera bag, a memory card wallet and a cleaning kit for the same authorized dealer price of $648.
Likewise, the ZS100 superzoom goes for the same price, in silver or black color schemes, and is bundled with the Corel Software Bundle (five titles, three of which are photo/video), a 16GB Lexar SD card, a Lowepro DP 30 camera bag, a Sunpak FlexPod Pro gripper thingy, a memory card wallet, and a cleaning kit.
I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and this is the situation with the Fuji X100F Big Sensor Prime:
SILVER FUJI X100F
+ USED Adorama for $1139 + S&H
+ USED Amazon Warehouse Deals itself for $1202~
+ NEW Best Buy (eBay)
+ NEW OC Camera (eBay)
+ new condition price is $1300
BLACK FUJI X100F
+ USED Amazon Warehouse Deals itself for $1169~
+ USED Adorama for $1204 + S&H
+ NEW Adorama (low stock)
+ NEW Amazon itself
+ NEW OneCall
+ new condition price is $1300
The silver Fuji X100S Big Sensor Prime has been harder to find in-stock for $1299 at recognizable online retailers, but as of the time of writing, two sellers have it in-stock and shipping for $1299, Kenmore Camera on eBay (one left) and Best Buy on eBay (limit three per buyer).
The black color scheme is also in-stock, you can get it for $1299 at Amazon by Amazon itself (limit three per buyer) and OneCALL (Huppin’s).
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
The Canon G9X goes for $400 in new condition with various free accessories (eg Adorama) but it also has to contest with the Canon G9X II which goes for $430. So in other words, if you want to get the first generation model, you may as well go the refurbished route…
… because the refurbished first generation Canon G9X is on sale for $299 with a free neckstrap and a free camera case and a 1-year Canon warranty at the official Canon USA Outlet store in either the black or the brown color schemes.
Don’t you forget about us sing the RAWsumers, and to those cameras we go where the Sony RX 100 Mark V has three freebies at B&H Photo while selling at the authorized dealer price of $998: a $50 B&H Photo gift card, a 32GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC memory card, and a Ruggard camera case.
Good news for people who like Fuji X100F good news! The black color scheme is, as of the time of writing, in-stock and ready to ship at its starting price of $1300 at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three units per customer…
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker…
And now we have updated the Fuji X100F segment of the Stock Status Tracker. The black X100F is out of stock everywhere at $1300, but some places sell it with the usual “limited availability premium”.
However, we have good news for the silver X100F. It is in-stock and ready to ship for $1300 by Best Buy (eBay) with a limit of three per buyer.
Also, if you are a fan of eBay auctions, one individual (100%, West Virginia) has an eBay AUCTION for this. It is currently at $920 with 28 bids and the auction closed on Thursday at 9:25pm ET. The condition is USED with 280 shutter actuations. Half a dozen pictures of the actual camera are also included in the listing.
More discounting on the Big Sensor Prime front, the new condition Ricoh GR II rawsumer is now down to the very specific price of $561.58 with free shipping at Adorama and Amazon by Amazon itself (limit up to three per customer).
This is an older post. A newer post with newer updates has been posted…
Continue reading “(OLDER POST) Ricoh GR II for $587 [or Used for $428]”
If you are interested in the Fuji X100F, as of this Stock Tracker update, the situation is this:
SILVER FUJI X100F
+ IN-STOCK (New Condition) for $1300 at Best Buy (eBay) and Kachashopus (eBay)
BLACK FUJI X100F
+ USED for $1202~ at Amazon Warehouse Deals
+ USED (eBay Auction) by individual person ($1201 bid, ends Sunday 7:27pm ET)
It is pure coincidence that I’m updating the Stock Status Tracker on Mondays, it’s supposed to get updated a lot more often, but time seems to fly faster and faster these days. Anyway, enough meta-talk, to the Fuji X100F-landia we go…
… where the Best Buy’s eBay store has the silver X100F in-stock for $1300. Limit three per buyer per the listing page.
On the black X100F front, Amazon itself has a May 18 in-stock estimate as of the time of writing. Keep in mind these estimates change over time…
If you are a Prime member and pay with either the Chase Amazon VISA credit card or the Prime Store credit card, you will receive 5% back as a statement credit, which is no small change, it is $65~ given the current price.
If you are not a Prime member, and you pay with the Chase Amazon VISA credit card you get 3% back as a statement credit, around $39. Citibank’s Forward credit card used to offer 5% on Amazon, but unless you are in a grandfathered card that wasn’t switched over, they no longer offer it (as far as I can tell).
On the other hand, if you are a fan of buying used from eBay, an individual has a USED (eBay Auction) that ends on Tuesday at 10:30pm ET. As of the time of writing, the auction price is $1125 with 29 bids. Shipping is $12 from the state of MA.
The brand new Fuji X100F is slowly getting released for $1300 [see Stock Status Tracker] but if it’s the X100T the one you want, it currently goes for $1100 bundled with a Rode VideoMic Pro R Mic for $1099 with free shipping at Adorama and B&H Photo.
Or if you are a Prime member paying with either the Amazon Chase VISA or the Prime Store card, you can get $55 back as a statement credit thru Amazon.
This auction ended with someone scooping it up towards the end, 15 bids and a $1200 price…
If you need some eBay auction entertainment/excitment, ending today at 12:08pm ET is a classic eBay auction by an individual seller on the Fuji X100F silver. As of 10:55am ET, there are 14 bids with a $1175 price. The individual eBay seller (100%, 65 ratings) is based in Los Angeles.
This used option sold out as well:
There is a “Used – Like New” option for $1202 by Amazon Warehouse Deals with a detailed condition and half a dozen pictures of the actual item (click on one of the two thumbnails to see the gallery).
The new condition price of the X100F at authorized dealers is $1300. For more options, check the Stock Status Tracker where there is one retailer that has both colors for $1300. The listing says they ship from the USA, but the seller’s page says they are in Hong Kong. I haven’t tried to go through with a purchase to see what happens [poor blogger!]
If you had been looking for the black Fuji X100F, rejoice! It is currently in-stock for its starting price of $1300 at Amazon by Amazon itself. At the moment this is restricted to Prime members only.
Meanwhile, if you are a more adventurous shopper and love eBay auctions, an individual eBay seller started an auction on the silver Fuji X100F starting at $900. The auction ends on Monday at 12:08pm eastern time.
For the big picture, check the Stock Status Tracker.
In this “Stock Update Saturday” we have another addition to the Stock Status Tracker, the Fuji X100F big sensor prime, and this is currently in-stock for its starting price of $1300 as follows:
+ silver by Best Buy (eBay)
+ black by B&H Photo and Kenmore (eBay)
I’ve fallen behind on stock updates, so I don’t know when this became in-stock, but the Fuji X100F Big Sensor Prime is now in-stock and ready to ship at its starting price of $1300 at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three units per customer.
PS: if you are a Prime member, and you pay with either the Amazon Chase VISA or the Amazon Store Credit card, you get 5% back on your purchases as cashback or a statement credit. In this case, 5% of this is $65, not a small amount!
PS2: if you have an Amazon Store credit card, you may be offered a 12-month 0% APR financing promotion as long as you pay it in full in 12 months. The financing offer cannot be combined with the 5% statement credit, so you have to pick one or the other. The shopping cart will guide you through it if eligible.
To the Big Sensor Primes front we go now, where the new condition Ricoh GR II is currently on sale for $600 with free shipping at B&H Photo. Orders can be placed again Wednesday night. Orders will ship on April 19+ regardless of shipment method selected, so keep that in mind.
B&H also has it available in Used Condition for $500 with free shipping. Used items sold by B&H Photo come with a 90-day warranty covered by B&H.
The Big Sensor Primes are alive and kicking too, and Fuji has an instant savings price cut on the Fuji X-100T, making the price $1100. You can get it in Silver with two different options:
+ with 4% rewards (around $44 to spend in future B&H purchases)
+ or with Free Fuji MIC-ST1 Stereo Microphone ($110 price on its own but no promotional rewards).
Meanwhile the black color scheme of the X100T gets 4% promotional rewards, but there is no free microphone option.
All of the above X100-T options are priced at $1100 with free shipping, regardless of the freebies.
RAWsumer action! The black color scheme of the Panasonic LX100 (aka the LX100K) is currently on sale, in new condition, for $560 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself. Limit up to three units per customer. This is not a lightning deal.
For other Amazon sales that are not lightning deals, check the Elsewhere at Amazon sections of the lightning deal round-ups.
On the “Compacts avec RAW” front, the new condition Canon G9 X is now on sale for $399 with free expedited shipping at B&H Photo which also includes a free Watson branded extra battery and 2% promotional rewards to be used in a future B&H purchase. The offer is good for black or brown.
Sony has launched a new round of instant savings on select E-system and A-system cameras and fixed lens cameras. You can find all participating items nicely organized at the B&H Photo website.
The sales include, among others:
