Google Pixel (Verizon Wireless) for 24 monthly $10/mo installments [or Pixel XL for 24 monthly $20/mo]

Since smartphone cameras have improved dramatically over the years, I will now also include them under the “Other Cameras” umbrella blog-category.

Which brings us to a flagship smartphone promotion, Verizon Wireless is offering the new condition 32GB Google Pixel smartphone on a 24-month installment plan for $10 per month for 24 months on an installment plan. The total price you would pay over the 24 months is $240. This is done using 24 monthly bill credits that bring the price down. You are billed $27.08 per month (the phone’s regular price) but you get $17.08 bill credits monthly, making it $10 per month. It’s basically a faux-contract of sorts… Also eligible for the promotion is the 128GB version which comes out to $15 per month for 24 months after the bill credits. You can adjust colors and storage size on that listing…

Meanwhile the larger 32GB Pixel XL is offered for $20 per month for 24 months, in a similarly structured promotion. The 128GB Pixel XL goes for $25 per month.

UPDATE: the same $10 per month for 24 months on an Installment plan is also offered for the Samsung Galaxy S7.

Posts here are flying fast and furious at this time of the year. Here are some tips to help you make the most of this blog:

+ you can quickly check the most recent five pages of posts using the quick links under the HOME button (top left corner of the blue Menu bar at the top of the page). Page #1 is the home page, Page #2 is the previous, and so forth. Here are the links for convenience: HOME page (aka Page #1) and PAGE #2 and PAGE #3 and PAGE #4 and PAGE #5

+ our customary “Black Friday Deals Situation Room”, a summary of the latest deals organized by camera/product type will go live at some point later on Thursday [I will add a link here once it goes live; UPDATE: link ADDED]

+ the Black Friday Brick and Mortar Ads are summarized by camera/product type and price-checked versus the internet in the Black Friday Ads digest post

Adorama defeats the Black Friday Ads for the Canon D-Rebel T6 with free Canon Printer and Corel Software and more (T6 w/18-55 and 75-300 for $450)

The Canon D-Rebel T6 two-lens kit (18-55, 75-300) for $450 is perhaps the most advertised of DSLRs at the Black Friday Ads, offered at least at Office Depot/MAX and BJ’s Wholesale and HH Gregg and Target and Walmart and Best Buy.

Now this offer has been handily defeated by Adorama offering the following additional free accessories to the two-lens kit: Canon Pixma MX922 wireless AiO printer, and Corel software bundle (including PSP X8 and AfterShot PRO 2), extra 3rd-party battery, 58mm UV filter, 16GB SD card, and the obligatory cleaning kit.

B&H Photo offers 2% rewards ($9 in future purchases there) and 16GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC and Sunpak 58mm Filter Kit, while Amazon itself includes a 32GB Lexar Professional and a Wasabi charger with two extra Wasabi batteries [this is NOT edible Wasabi].

This round of Woot-OFFs expired on Saturday at 1am ET… I don’t know if they plan another one for Cyber Monday, or as I like to call it, Cider Monday 🙂

Like a virus, the Woot-OFF has moved to almost all the sub-Woots including Electronics Woot and Computers, the most likely ones to feature camera and photo related items. The main Woot is back to normal though. As usual these run in 24 hour multiples, so it will continue at least until 1am ET on Saturday.
