Open-Box Nikon D810 w/24-120 for $2900 + S&H

The Nikon D810 with the 24-120mm standard kit goes for $3200 with some free accessories at authorized dealers (eg Adorama), but if you want to save some and don’t need the extra accessories, B&H Photo is offering this kit in open-box condition for $2900 plus shipping and handling. Canon 1D C Body for $5000

New condition authorized-dealer supplies for the Canon 1D C body only Cinema DSLR are running on the dry side, but if you want it, it is still available in-stock and in new condition for $5000 at B&H Photo. Note that this is sold as non-returnable item. If you have any issues with it, you have to go through the Canon warranty. This is not an uncommon practice for professional video equipment where returns can be used as “temporary rentals” by film makers on a shoestring budget.

PS: I have began a full frame cameras price check for the upcoming “Price Charts” series, this is the first of potentially more full frame discount posts to come (assuming there are more mentionables that is).

This was a Groupon special but only available to Groupon the company 🙂 They have purchased competing social deals website LivingSocial for an unspecified low price. Another social deals site goes down, Amazon folded its own AmazonLocal, while NewEgg’s “NewEgg Flash” continues but it’s semi-integrated into the main NewEgg site now. It looks like it may be a computer-generated price-match, so it may (or may not) last long.
