Just in the …nick of time, Santa can deliver the new 7″ Kindle Oasis e-reader. It is back in-stock and ready to ship at Amazon for $250 with free shipping. Limit two per customer!

This is the largest Kindle e-reader screen size since the good old 9.7″ Kindle DX with a built-in keyboard (and no touchscreen). It has a 300ppi screen, IPX8 waterproofness (up to 60 minutes on up to 2 meters of water), physical page turn buttons, can play audiobook but only over bluetooth (no speakers or headphone port), 8GB storage (no microSD), etc.
The 7-inch diagonal screen gives you a lot more reading space than the previous generation 6-inch Oasis. Look at the picture at the bottom of this customer review.

I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and there are some promising news, the camera is shown as in-stock for its starting price of $3200 by seller “Cardinal Photo” through Amazon. This ships directly from Cardinal Photo, and it is not eligible for Prime shipping.
The shipping estimates will vary depending on how near/far you are to the shipping routes as they intersect with Cardinal’s location.

We have an in-stock alert of a different kind! Version 57 of Firefox for Windows is now out, and it’s a blazer. This time for real! This was a long-planned version to de-slugfest-ify Firefox and it’s working so far. Very noticeable difference in speed! Only issue is that the “New Tab” page is pre-populated with crap, but you can quickly remove them by clicking on the Settings Wheel (from the New Tab page) and unclicking the five things that are defaulted on).

This is the first time I noticed this is in-stock, I’m not sure when it became in-stock in the first place. It is Sony’s RX0, an elementproof action camera with a 1-inch sensor and RAW support. It is in-stock at its starting price of $700 at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon where a 3rd-party seller (K&M Camera Store) is offering a bundle for the same price with various free accessories (64GB SD, case, etc) with the orders fulfilled by Amazon.
