Once such case is found in the eBay Deals where eBay seller “Get It Digital” (99.5%) is offering the white-box (does not come in outer retail packaging) Canon 24-105 f4L IS USM lens for $606 with free shipping, with a limit of 3 per customer. Over 1400 lenses got sold so far from this listing per the eBay statistics over there.
NOTE: the eBay listing has no mention of a warranty. It does not state whether the lens was split from a USA warranty kit, or if it was split from an Imported kit. To be on the safe side, assume this is an imported grey-market item. They would have probably charged more if it was a USA warranty lens.

The Nikon DSLR + Lens combined purchase discounts expire on 1/2/16 as well in their current iteration. You can see the various options and combinations nicely organized by DSLR at B&H Photo. Some of these offers may not return later on, but again, I have no way of knowing for certain. Participating Nikon DSLRs range from the D3300 all the way up to the Df and D4S.
Canon Lens Instant Savings (38 options; Expire 1/2/16)
The current iteration of the Canon Lens Instant Savings expires 1/2/16. A total of 38 items are participating at the aforelinked B&H Photo page, 34 lenses and 4 flashes. There are too many to list here individually. Many of them have promotional rewards as well. Some of these offers may not return after 1/2/16, but I have no way of knowing for certain either way.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention, running in parallel, also with a 1/2/16 expiration date are the instant savings on Canon DSLRs. These are not combined purchase discounts, just discounts on the DSLR prices.

In a very long press release, Amazon revealed a number of tangible and semi-tangible factoids about their Black Friday 2015 Holiday shopping season. The camera and photo segment there reveals that the Fuji Instax (instant film camera), the GoPro Hero4 Silver, and its AB headstrap mount were their top selling items under the Camera and Photo category…
It is interesting to see how things change for the mythical average consumer. A few years ago, every techie wanted to have a dSLR to call his/her own, and the various tech blogs were heavily covering the latest hot cameras du jour. Now it seems the average mythical person wants an instant film camera and an action camera :)… The retro theme was also there in Audio, a turntable was ahead of a classic A/V receiver and a fancy-techie SONOS player :)…
Another interesting factoid, “Members worldwide uploaded more than a billion photos for free with Prime Photos this holiday.”. They certainly did not do that with Kindle Fire Phones, so the app must be popular with other devices 🙂 [remember, if you are a Prime member, you automatically get unlimited Cloud Photos!]
