8% eBay Bucks (No Minimum, Must Activate; YMMV)

Another eBay Bucks promotion was rolled out earlier today by eBay. As usual with these, they are YMMV because I don’t know if they sent this to everyone or a subset of the eBay users. This current iteration is 8% eBay Bucks with no minimum purchase required. The standard eBay Bucks percentage is 2%. As usual, you have to manually activate the offer (press a button in the email or eBay message/app), and you are good to go. The offer ends on Wednesday at 11:59pm Pacific time. The usual restrictions apply.

A good place to look for ideas are the eBay Deals along with the Trending Deals (shows only 100 trending deals, less overwhelming to look at than their main deals page). There’s also a dedicated search box there that searches only the Deals, not everything else on eBay.

(ENDED) Cyber Monday: 20% off at Monoprice with coupon

This coupon expired but Monoprice rolls out coupons on a regular basis… For Cyber Monday only, coupon code CM2016 gets you 20% off almost everything at the Monoprice website. The usual exclusions apply. You can test the coupon in the shopping cart to see what works.

VISA Checkout: $25 off purchase of $100+ at Best Buy website

VISA Checkout continues to promote itself in the most consumer-friendly way possible: offering discounts 🙂 The latest to join the VISA Checkout discounting party is the Best Buy website. You will save $25 when you make a purchase of $100+ and pay for it using VISA Checkout. Limit one per customer during this promotional period.

The expiration date is a bit nebulous. The offer expires 12/25/16 BUT the terms also say “or while supplies last”, which means it could end at any time since we (the shoppers) have no way of knowing what the “supplies” situation is 🙂

(ENDED) 15% off near site-wide at Target (ends Mon PM)

(ENDED) New WOOT-OFF started at 1am ET on Cyber Monday

This Woot-OFF ended after 24 hours… Just like clockwork, it is Cyber Monday in the Central time zone, and a new Woot-OFF has began! Participating are many of the sub-Woots. Most likely places to find camera-and-photo related items (although no guarantee) are the Main Woot and Electronics Woot and Computers Woot. These run in 24 hour increments, so it could end at 1am ET on Tuesday (most likely) or 1am ET Wednesday or Thursday.

Mike’s Camera B&M: $20 off $40+ single item (CO, CA)

At Mike’s Camera brick and mortar stores in Colorado and California (these are the only states they currently have stores in), until Cyber Monday, a coupon found in the print ad in the newspapers and also on the Weekly Ad section of their website gets you $20 off a single item priced $40 or more. The coupon is good until Cyber Monday. The coupon can only be used in-store. Here’s how it looks (it’s in the last page of their current Weekly Ad):

(ENDED) Woot-OFF in most Sub-Woots including Electronics

This round of Woot-OFFs expired on Saturday at 1am ET… I don’t know if they plan another one for Cyber Monday, or as I like to call it, Cider Monday 🙂

Like a virus, the Woot-OFF has moved to almost all the sub-Woots including Electronics Woot and Computers, the most likely ones to feature camera and photo related items. The main Woot is back to normal though. As usual these run in 24 hour multiples, so it will continue at least until 1am ET on Saturday. As usual, YMMV on what they’ll offer and how good the prices will be.

Adorama Black Friday specials go live

The Adorama Black Friday Specials are now live, featuring specials from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, and Fuji. A total of 28 products are participating. You can click on the manufacturer names over there if you want to jump directly to their sections, or page down until you reach them.

New Woot-OFF started Thursday 1am ET

A Black Friday shopping circus is not complete without a Woot-OFF, so of course it’s here, it started at a 1am ET on Thursday, Woot-OFF at the main Woot… The sub-Woots are not participating. These typically last in multiple of 24 hours. As usual, I have no clue what’s coming up, so it is a YMMV DIY adventure if interested…

20% off Lens Rentals (and potential bonus days) at BL with coupon

BorrowLenses has a Black Friday promotion as well, coupon code BF2016 gets you 20% off a rental and if your rental period includes Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, you get those two days for FREE. You must place the rental order by 11/18/16, but your rental doesn’t have to start right away. It can start as late as mid-December. Here’s an annotated screenshot of their promotion that explains it faster than just text:

YMMV 8% eBay Bucks on $50+ items [must activate first]

eBay is back with another Bonus Bucks promotion, you earn 8% eBay Bucks on individual items priced at $50 or higher (that’s the item price, before taxes or shipping). As usual, you have to manually opt-in to the offer before you get the bonus. Also note that this may be offered to a subset of eBay users, either on a rotating basis or a “big data” basis, so that’s why I say YMMV since I have no way of knowing what percentage of eBay users is being offered this which expires Tuesday November 22 at 11:59pm pacific time.

A good place to look for ideas are the eBay Deals along with the Trending Deals (shows only 100 trending deals, less overwhelming to look at than their main deals page). There’s also a dedicated search box there that searches only the Deals, not everything else on eBay.

15% off at Monoprice with coupon (ends Sun PM)

If you want more time to plan your next Monoprice purchases, this coupon is considerate of that concern! Coupon code EARLYBF gets you 15% off on almost everything at at the Monoprice website until Sunday night (11/20/16). The usual coupon restrictions apply.

YMMV 4% to 8% eBay Bucks depending on item price

If you are an eBay Bucks rewards member, check your emails/messages for a potential new bonus bucks offer. This may be targeted, so I have no way of knowing how many people get it. You must manually activate the offer via the email/message before you earn the bonus. The bonus depends on the item’s purchase price. Items over $150, get 8%. Items between $100 and $150, get 6%. And items between $50 and $100, get 4%. The percentage depends on an item’s price, not the order total. The usual rewards percentage is 2%. The usual terms and exclusions apply. Offer ends Tuesday 11/15/16 at 11:59pm pacific time…

Adorama Fall Clearance (2700+ items)

Adorama updated their Fall Clearance page currently having 2700+ items. You can use the various options in the left sidebar over there to drill down by product categories or manufacturers, and use the options in the main column to adjust viewing options, eg if you are on a big vertical screen and a fast computer/connection, you can load 60 at a time instead of 15. I can’t digest all 2700+ of them right away, so it is a YMMV adventure if you feel like deal fishing.

$5 Amazon Gift Card with select Alexa Voice purchases

Black Friday 2016 is just 3.5 weeks away (yes, that’s right!), and retailers are ramping up their offers. It’s a good time to stock up on store credits and bonuses with these type of offers. In addition to the previously mentioned Amazon Gift Card Reload promotion, Amazon also has a $5 bonus for Alexa Shoppers. If you make an Alexa Voice purchase from a list of participating items, you will receive a $5 Amazon gift card for boldly going. The offer ends 11/18/16 or after 25,000 redemptions; whichever happens first. I don’t have an Alexa, so I can’t test this, so YMMV. Details at the aforelinked page.

YMMV: 1% Back on PayPal purchases (max $10 benefit)

Once upon a time PayPal reigned supreme as an online payment method. Now it’s getting attacked from all directions, so they discovered new technologies, like customer service and customer benefits 😉 They are now running a targeted promotion, it is a YMMV since I have no clue what percentage of their customers is getting this offer. If you are eligible, you should see it in your emails or PayPal website. You have to manually opt-in the offer by clicking on the Activate button in the mail. The benefit is this: you get 1% back on PayPal purchases until November 20, 2016 (of course they exclude Black Friday shopping!). The maximum cashback you get from this is $10 (=== $1000 in purchases). Here’s a screenshot from that email:
