The Panasonic GH5 body only is holding steady at $2000, but the imported/grey-market prices have been dropping steadily, currently going for $1500 grey market as one of the eBay Black Friday features.
But the Panasonic GH4 is not only going for $898 but you have choices on which freebie to pick at B&H Photo: FREE Rode Mic or mayhaps V-LOG Activation Kit or 4% promotional rewards ($36~ in future purchases)… Amazon has it for $900, but no freeebies…
There are so many refurbished sales at Canon I can’t process/post them all individually right now, so here is are the overview listing. I don’t know why they create so many listings, and I don’t know if there is complete or partial overlap between the categories. It is situations like these where it would really help if I was IBM’s Watson and could start 200 background process to sort it out!

The YI 42.5mm f1.8 macro lens for $100 offer expired, but there is a new discount on the YI M1 two lens kit (with 12-40, 42.5mm f1.8) dropping from $379 to $350 in the black or silver color schemes. This is not a lightning deal. If you don’t need it immediately, since YI is a frequent participant in the Gold Box Lightning Deals, it may show up there at some point(s) during this Holiday shopping season. This is only speculation, I have no way of knowing either way ahead of time.
PS: but that’s not all, there are many Micro Four Thirds sales and more when Olympus unveils their Outlet store specials. As of the time of writing all the refurbished products are gone. Maybe they are saving them for Cyber Monday?

This is very handy because I can’t find time to create summaries or even go through all the Instant Savings promotions of every manufacturer. As teased in the Olympus Black Friday Teasers, the new condition Olympus E-M1 II, the current flagship of the Olympus side of Micro Four Thirds is down $100, at an all time low of $1700 with free shipping at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon itself. The Sony a7r II was going for $2900 when I posted the Mirrorless Price Charts two weeks ago, but the combination of the impending release of the a7r III and the various Instant Savings offers have dropped its price down to $2400 and that’s not all, you also get free items with purchase!
At B&H Photo, you have a choice of serious freebies: either a 4TB WD MyPassport External HDD or a free 1-Year Photographer Creative Cloud subscription.
At Adorama you have a choice of freebies as well, either Lightroom 6 software or Tascam DR-10S Mic or the customary bundle of photo accessories.
Amazon is stingy on the freebies (none) but if you pay for it with a Prime VISA you will get 5% as a statement credit (that’s $120).
One of the cameras teased in the eBay BF Ads [see BF Ads Digest mega-post] is the Panasonic GH5 body only for $1500, and I think I’ve found that offer. As expected, it is imported/grey-market, offered in new condition by 6ave’s eBay store with a limit of up to three per buyer. It comes with a 1-year seller warranty.
This is a $50 drop since the last time I updated the Stock Status Tracker where the same seller offered it for $1550. The new condition price at authorized dealers remains $2000 (thank you MAP pricing).
BUT another option emerged now, KEH Camera has limited supplies in USED “LN-” (Like New Minus) condition for $1829 plus shipping. And if you buy before 12/31/17, you get a 365-warranty from KEH Camera instead of the usual 180-day. Definitely better to have a KEH warranty than an eBay seller warranty 🙂
eBay has revealed their eight page Black Friday ad and it has about half a dozen digital cameras in it. The eBay ad however does not specify the seller of the camera, the warranty situation, or the condition of the product, so that’s a mystery until the deal goes live. Judging by the prices, it looks like most of them are probably going to be imported/grey-market. About half of them are 35mm full frame cameras.

I will price-check and dig around on eBay to see if these are already live.
It’s the November surprise! Leica has a new APS-C mirrorless camera out, it is the brand new CL, and Leica is boldly going with this one, it’s USB-C time! It has a 24mp APS-C (rhymes with USB-C) CMOS sensor and has the Leica L-mount, so you can use TL and SL lenses with it. And that’s before you start using adapters.

These have been added to the New Cameras and Lenses of 2017. This new announcement furthered the Mirrorless lead over DSLRs in 2017 to an insurmountable 13-8.
PS: the Leica zoom lens (!?!@?#!@#?!@!) is not a brand new one. It’s been around for a a while

In new condition, this goes for $550 at authorized dealers such as Adorama and B&H Photo and $650 with the 14-42 or $750 with the 12-50. This was the price of the body only two weeks ago as well when I posted the Mirrorless Price Charts.
If you prefer the refurbished E-M10 II with the 14-42mm EZ, it goes for $430 in black or silver at the Olympus Outlet store, which is exactly the price of the refurbished 14-42mm EZ lens on its own. So if you go refurbished, the delta between the body only and the “with 14-42 EZ” is +$150, while in new condition is +$100. In other words, if you don’t feel compelled to have the 14-42 EZ lens, you can also look into getting a different lens, for example, a $90 pancake.
