Pentax DSLR Lens Instant Savings (29 options)

On the Pentax K-mount, a total of 29 Pentax lenses are participating in the latest B&H Photo Pentax Instant Savings promotion. Some (but not all) of the lens offers expire Saturday at 11:59pm ET. Imported Nikon D850 Body “drops” to $3400

I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and there is a “discount” on the limited availability premium of the Nikon D850. The camera’s official price is $3300 at authorized dealers, but it went over $3500 by importers who had it in-stock. Now the “limited availability premium” is shrinking, it’s “only” +$100, you can get it in imported grey-market condition with a 1-year seller warranty (not Nikon USA) by eBay seller Deals All Year (New Jersey) for $3400 with free shipping.

Personally I would wait for the Nikon USA authorized dealers, but I am not the Master of the Universe (I am barely the master of my thoughts), I can’t decide for everybody else 🙂

Canon SL2 with 18-55 and 75-300 and 50/1.8 for $779 at Costco [non-members for $819]

The Canon SL2 with the 18-55 lens goes for $600 in new condition at authorized dealers (eg B&H Photo) but if you also want the Canon 50mm f1.8 STM and 75-300 f4-5.6 III non-USM lenses, you can get them all together as a bundle with a Canon bag, 32GB SD card for $780 at Costco. Non-members can buy it with a 5% surcharge (= $819).

This depends on whether you want all three lenses. The Canon 50mm f1.8 lens goes for $125 on its own, so is the 75-300mm non-USM and the bag/SD worth an extra $55 for you? Or an extra $94 if you are not a Costco member. Sales tax is extra as usual. I do not mention or calculate sales tax in the deal posts since it varies based on many factors.

Speaking of Costco, a number of gift cards for national and regional restaurants are available with nice discounts of around 20% and they are available to purchase for non-members as well. Many of these are delivered as multiple $20 or $25 gift cards, making it easier to split the order with friends and family or use them as gifts. Speaking of gifts, some of the toy drive folks often need gifts for older kids, and they say gift cards are one good option ~ in case you need ideas or reasons to buy these 🙂
