Tamrac, Cristina Lens Calibration, Energizer multi-fit remote shutter release, C by GE, Etc

PSA: i’m currently doing a new experiment, blogging on the TV using a brand new RF USB keyboard, so the chances of errors and typos and such are elevated 🙂

The current B&H daily deals (end by Saturday at 11:59pm, as usual the Friday deals run for 48 hours but B&H does not accept orders Fri PM to Sat PM ~ check their website for exact times]:

+ Tamrac Stratus 8 Shoulder Bag for $60

At the Woot daily deals there’s all kinds of refurbished Apple products under “Computers” and old refurbished Pixels under “Electronics”. The original Pixel for $50 is sold out but they still have Pixel 2 models starting at $120, Pixel 3a and 3 starting at $180. This may be a good opportunity pickup if you want to have the latest “pure” Android from Google. Check with your favorite Android websites/forums to see how many Android OS updates estimated to be remaining for each model…

Meanwhile at the Best Buy dailies there’s a C by GE lighting kit for $20, along with various Luton lighting options on sale. Also a $1300 Acer Predator laptop, a 2-pk of 8000 maH Insignia powerbanks for $20 [could be useful for lower-power photo-related accessories and older/smaller phones] and a $550 Epson projector…

Flashpoint Lighting Kit [C/N/S] and $699 Acer Spin 3

The current Adorama daily deal (changes Friday 10am ET) is the new condition Flashpoint XPLOR 600 PRO TTL R2 Monolight with Zoom Li-ion Speedlite going for $749 with free US shipping, available in three different options, the Nikon, the Canon and the Sony systems…

This consists of a monolight, and an on-camera light and a light stand…

But that’s not all. The daily deal also has a $699 laptop temptation, the Acer Spin 3 that ticks a lot of marks on the desirability front:

This is model SP314-54N-50W3, research it online for further details if interested). Double check the specs because a couple of them (screen resolution, etc) are different between the description and the specs over there…
