I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and as of this update, the Fuji X-T2 remains out of stock at the places we track, while the Canon G7X II and 5D Mark IV remain in-stock at a rotating list of retailers. As of this update, Amazon itself has the Canon 5D Mark IV body only in-stock for $3500 with a limit of three units per customer. The Sony RX10 III has been retired from tracking since it has been in-stock steadily for many days in a row.

The Nikon D5300 body only currently goes for $600 at authorized dealers which are allowed to add some free accessories (eg Adorama) or you can get it for $490 manufacturer-refurbished at Adorama.
However, if you are willing to take on more risk, among the latest eBay Trending Deals, eBay seller “PhotoVideo4Less” (100%, Brooklyn) is offering the new condition imported grey-market Nikon D5300 body only for $360 with free shipping. There is no warranty on this, so it is a higher risk. Limit 50 per customer. Over 300 units got sold so far from this listing.

Payment News: PayPal will soon allow Credit Cards as Default Payment Method
PayPal’s favorability ratings are probably in the cable company and politician levels, and with an avalanche of alternative payment methods, they are finally doing the unthinkable. Starting at some point next month, you will be able to set your default payment method to anything you want, you won’t be forced to use a debit card. That’s right a *GASP* credit card. It only took them 20 years to “discover” this feature 🙂 The feature will roll out at different times throughout the world. More details via CNet News.

As of a 9/17/16 1:27pm ET update of the Stock Status Tracker, all Fuji X-T2 kits are out of stock, while the Canon 5D Mark IV and G7 X II remain at multiple retailers. Meanwhile the Sony RX10 III remained in-stock steadily for many days in a row, so it has now been removed from the Tracker…
With this latest Stock Status update, we have more Canon 5D Mark IV options, including the body only option now in-stock with free 2-day shipping for $3500 at Adorama. Meanwhile the Fuji X-T2 is going in the other direction, the only in-stock option as of this update is the X-T2 body only by Unique Photo via Amazon for $1600.

Digital magazine seller Zinio has a new coupon promotion, coupon code FRESH40 gets you 40% off almost all the magazines they carry. The sale is good until 9/19/16. Use the search bar to look for magazines of interest, the ones shown on the aforelinked page are just a subset of what’s eligible. This is a link the Photography Category.
These are digital magazines that you can read using the Zinio website (eg desktops/laptops) along with their iOS and Android and Windows Metro app. This type of a sale is great for international photography magazines whose shipping fees make them too expensive for a physical subscription. The mainstream US photo magazines (Pop, Outdoor, etc) are more expensive at Zinio (even with the coupon) than the weekend DicsountMags physical magazine sales.

As of 2:45pm ET, the listing from Amazon itself is now out of stock with a September 18, 2016 shipping estimate, but 3rd-party seller Murphy’s Camera (authorized dealer) has it in-stock for $3500 with a September 22-29 if you choose the standard shipping option (this is not Prime eligible, it ships directly from Murphy’s).
