For many Canon fans, the 75-300mm lens being non-IS non-USM in the digital era sticks out like a sore thumb, but at that price, Canon will probably not offer an IS lens. But they have a new IS lens in this ballpark range, the new EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS II USM lens, available for pre-order for $550 at Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo.
