To the Land of eBay we go with what looks like a higher risk purchase than a retail purchase, so if you are risk-averse you may want to skip this. eBay seller “Smart Pawn Shopper” (99.8%, Southern California) is offering a used Nikon D850 body only for $2800 with free shipping. The listing has pictures of the actual camera and a list of what’s included. They also have “Make Offer” enabled. Check the listing and the seller in detail before buying if interested. Again, this is a higher risk purchase, so if the chance of problems keeps you up at night, just avoid it 🙂
Amazon Warehouse Deals has launched what they call an Annual Savings Event that offers up to 25% off savings on a variety of electronics, including digital cameras (page down to see their box) and 2015 TVs among other products. No coupon is needed. The price you see is the price you pay. There are over 260 listings under Camera and Photo. Unfortunately I cannot price-check all those at the moment, so this is a DIY adventure if interested.
An early bird update of the Stock Status Tracker has good news for fans of the Panasonic G9! The camera is in-stock and shipping in new condition from authorized dealer Samy’s Camera (one unit left per the page over there).
If you are a fan of used, there are two “Used – Demo” condition listings at Adorama for $1500 plus shipping. This is shown under the “Buy for as low as $1499.00 in Used” in small print on their website. I can’t find them by searching their USED department. The new condition Leica Q Typ 116 ranges from $4250 (black) to $4495 (silver) depending on color. If you are willing to go used, Adorama has it USED in “Very Good” condition for $2999 plus shipping (starts at $22). This is a 35mm full frame fixed lens camera, the only non-Sony RX-series at the moment.
PS: if/when it sells out, the used listing will be automatically yanked by their server, so if you don’t see a camera, it means it sold out.

Another development from the update of the Stock Status Tracker is another “sale by user” for the Nikon D850 body only. It is in USED condition and an Auction-style eBay Listing.
