Sony strikes again with another RX-series camera, the sixth of its name in the RX100 series, it is the brand new RX100 Mark VI, available for pre-ordering for $1200 at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon itself. The release estimate is July 10 in 2018.
It has a 1″ 20mp sensor, 28-200mm eq f2.8-4.5 Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* blessed lens, 315-point phase detection, touchscreen, 4K, etc. Just like the RX10 IV, this new model has also moved the chains forward in terms of pricing…

Fuji has cut back on the number of fixed lens X-series cameras it is making and as of the time of writing (price-check for the upcoming Fixed Lens Cameras Price Chart) the Fuji X70 is gone and cannot be ordered at Adorama and B&H Photo. It is still orderable at Amazon by Amazon itself at its typical price of $700. It is in the all-encompassing “temporarily out of stock” status, so shipping estimate is unknown.
As of a 2/25/18 recheck, this is sold out… Used quantities are typically very limited…
The new condition Leica Q Typ 116 ranges from $4250 (black) to $4495 (silver) depending on color. If you are willing to go used, Adorama has it USED in “Very Good” condition for $2999 plus shipping (starts at $22). This is a 35mm full frame fixed lens camera, the only non-Sony RX-series at the moment.

2. if you go to the hardback/print version of the book, it may have “Look Inside” enabled. “Look Inside” often lets you jump all over the book, and that’s the best way to get a feel for it since you can read actual content, not just the beginning
