The silver color scheme of the YI 42.5mm F1.8 Lens with Macro Mode is on sale at the moment for $100 with free shipping by YI with the orders fulfilled by Amazon. You can buy as many as you like. This is an old fashioned sale, not a lightning deal.
Optionally if buy the lens together with the YI M1 Battery and Charger, you can use coupon code WCRQLY4P to get 20% off the price of the charger/battery (20% off $20 = $16). The lens does not use the battery, it is used in the YI M1 camera 🙂
Olympus Travel Lens Kit (14-150mm f4-5.6 II and 17mm f1.8 and extras) for $699 [m43]

New Lens Instant Savings II: Pentax, Sigma, Rokinon, Samyang, Olympus
The previous Lens Instant Savings post got crowded, so now we have a Part II with some of the other lens manufacturers!
+ Pentax K-Lenses: 42 options including 24-70/2.8 SDM for $1100, 70-200/2.8 AW for $1600, 100/2.8 WR Macro for $500, etc

+ Samyang Lenses (various systems): 49 options with a mix of photography-priority and video-priority lenses
+ Rokinon Lenses (various systems): 92 options with a mix of photography-priority and video-priority lenses including Sony E-system autofocus lenses
+ CORRECTED: an “option swith” is “options with” with the “s” at the wrong place 🙂
More on these later on, as, unfortunately, I am not IBM’s Watson and I cannot “digest” hundreds of lenses (over 500 of them in these two posts) on the fly. Not to mention that glass causes indigestion. Mayhaps I’ll start with the plastic lenses first 🙂

Panasonic G85 with 12-60 and 45-200 OIS for $998
The Panasonic G85 mirrorless camera is on its way out. The body only kit is already gone, that’s why we didn’t include it in our latest Mirrorless Price Chart, but that doesn’t stop the deals from happening!
The standard Panasonic G85 with 12-60mm which goes for $1000 now (and went for $1000 last week) is now bundled with the Panasonic 45-200mm f4-5.6 II PowerOIS lens for FREE at Amazon by Amazon itself (limit 3 per customer; 5% if you pay with Prime Chase VISA; 3% with non-Prime Chase VISA) and B&H Photo and Adorama.
Adorama includes a handful of free extras as well: Corel software suite, 24/7 TC holster, 58mm filter kit, 32GB Lexar SD, card reader, memory card wallet, and cleaning kit. The lens is included in the bundle, when you scroll to the bottom of the “Bundle Includes”, you will see the lens there. Screenshot below:
Optionally you can triple the warranty by filing with Panasonic. Details in PDF files at both retailers above.
There are many and more Micro Four Thirds options these days, so the decision on which one(s) to get may require a few spreadsheets and Tylenols 😉
PS: the difference between a Prime and a non-Prime Chase VISA is your Prime status. If you are a Prime member, it becomes a Prime VISA and you get 5% back on your statements. If you are not a Prime member, you get 3% back.
YI 42.5mm f1.8 lens for $169 [m43]
One thing leads to another and we have a bit of a YI theme today. Unrelated to their action cameras, the YI 42.5mm f1.8 lens is on sale for $169 in the black color scheme or the silver color scheme, sold by the YI Amazon store with the orders fulfilled by Amazon, so it is Prime eligible.
This is of interest if you only want the lens and have zero interest in the YI M1 camera or 12-40 YI lens.
If you have some interest in the YI M1 camera, note that it is sold as a YI M1 two lens kit (the M1 camera, this 42.5/1.8 lens and the 12-40/3.5-5.6 lens) for $379 in the silver color scheme. The black color scheme is currently sold out.
(ENDED) Used Panasonic GX850 with 12-32 for $400 + S&H
The new condition price dropped since then…
Pre-order new Panasonic 200mm f2.8 OIS lens [m43]
Telebrights are coming to Micro Four Thirds Landia! Coming along with the G9 flagship camera is a brand new bright telephoto prime, the new H-ES200 lens. Or as most people like to call it, a Panasonic 200mm f2.8 OIS with an includes 1.4X teleconverter (DMW-TC14) for the pre-order price of $3000.
Pre-orders for this lovely are accepted at Amazon by Amazon itself and B&H Photo and Adorama.
If the included 1.4X teleconverter is not enough, Panasonic will also be releasing at about the same time the brand new Panasonic LUMIX 2.0X Teleconverter Lens, Black (DMW-TC20) for this lens, available for pre-ordering for $600 at Amazon by Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo.
This too has been added to the New Lenses of 2017 tracking page.
Pre-order new Panasonic G9 camera with Dual IS, 80mp high-res mode for $1700
Patience is a virtue for this new camera as the estimates point to mid January to mid February 2018. It is the brand new Panasonic G9 non-video flagship, with a dual IS system [about time this became popular], dual SD slots, and an “80 megapixel high-res mode” among other things. The pre-order price is $1700 with pre-orders accepted by Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo.
It will be added to the Stock Status Tracker as we get closer to release date (it’s 2-3 months away).
Also coming along for the ride is the Panasonic DMW-BGG9 Battery Grip available for pre-ordering for $350 at B&H Photo and Adorama and Amazon itself.
The timing of this camera is perfect because our Mirrorless segment of the Camera Price Charts is coming out tomorrow, so it will be included 🙂
This too has been added to the New Cameras of 2017 tracking page. This furthers the Mirrorless cameras lead over DSLRs to 12-8. It is not unreasonable to assume that DSLRs probably don’t have a chance to catch up to them in 2017 but you never know, we’ve had November and December surprised in previous years after all!
Does this sound like a dream M43rds camera or hype? Details at 11!

Another refill at the Olympus Outlet store, it is the manufacturer refurbished M.Zuiko 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 II (Micro Four Thirds) in the silver color scheme going for $90 with a 90-day warranty. I believe shipping is $5 flat unless the order total is $100+ but I could be wrong.
Refurbished Olympus FL-600R flash for $200
The Olympus FL-600R flash goes for $300 at authorized dealers in new condition, such as Adorama and Amazon itself, but if you want to pay 2/3rds of that price…

Imported Panasonic 100-400 f4-6.3 OIS for $1370 [m43]
To the eBay Deals we go, where the QuickNDone eBay store (99.9%) is offering the new condition imported grey-market Panasonic Leica DG 100-400mm F/4-6.3 O.I.S micro four thirds lens for $1370 with free shipping until 11/6/17 or earlier if sold out. Limit two per customer.
There is no mention of warranty in the eBay listing except when you hit the Warranty tab at the very bottom, it says limited 1-year (it may have been a leftover or default setting in the form). In the chance they do offer a warranty, it would be a seller-warranty, since they are not Panasonic USA retailers. Assume there is no warranty to be on the safe side.
PS: if interested in this, don’t forget to first activate the 8% eBay Bucks if you have invited by the eBay email bots to participate.

More refills at the Olympus USA Outlet, you can get the manufacturer refurbished M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 R for $60, in the silver color scheme, with a 90-day Olympus USA warranty. I believe free shipping with $100+ orders otherwise it’s $5 flat.

There is one refill that happened the last couple of days at the Olympus Outlet store, the manufacturer refurbished Olympus 17mm f1.8 with a 90-day Olympus USA warranty is in-stock for $330 with free shipping in the black color scheme.
I don’t know if this is the vanguard of another refill round, so an isolated incident. I will be monitoring the situation…
