Pre-orders for new Sony a7 III start Wedn 11am ET
Sony has plenty of 35mm full frame cameras [see 35mm full frame price charts] but that’s not stopping them from revealing a brand new model! The Sony a7 III body only is now an official product and pre-orders of it will begin on Wednesday 2/28/18 at 11am eastern at authorized Sony dealers.
The starting price is $2000 for the body only, and $2200 for the kit with the 28-70mm lens. A listing for the camera is available at B&H Photo and Adorama with the pre-ordering option activating on Wednesday at 11am eastern.
This has been added to the New Cameras of 2018 tracking page and has given mirrorless cameras a 7-1 lead over DSLRs in 2018.

An early bird update of the Stock Status Tracker has good news for fans of the Panasonic G9! The camera is in-stock and shipping in new condition from authorized dealer Samy’s Camera (one unit left per the page over there).
If you are a fan of used, there are two “Used – Demo” condition listings at Adorama for $1500 plus shipping. This is shown under the “Buy for as low as $1499.00 in Used” in small print on their website. I can’t find them by searching their USED department. IF/when they sell out, you will no longer see the used option. Annotated screenshot below:
