Shiguma strikes again with a new line-up of lenses, the I-series. These are mirrorless-exclusive full-frame compact-priority lenses and they are coming out for the Sony E and Leica L 35mm-full-frame mirrorless systems. The three lenses are:

It’s the same song and dance every time. When a new flagship comes out, the prices of the previous flagship go down. And as of the time of writing, the new condition Olympus E-M1 Mark II body only is down to $849 at authorized Olympus USA dealers such as B&H Photo and Amazon and also at Adorama’s where you can optionally hit the “Create Your Bundle and Save” and purchase together with the camera various Sigma, Rokinon, 7artisan and Kamlan lenses for small combined purchase discounts. The discounts are small ($15 to $30 per lens, but some of these lenses are very low cost), but the discounts are stackable, so if you buy three different lenses, you’ll stack three different discounts.

Sony is running a little bit of a convoluted “buy more save more” type of a promotion until December 6 in 2020. The start of the promotional period was September 1st in 2020. Items need not to be purchased from the same retailer or the same date.

The offer requires:

  • Buy 2 or more Sony Lenses from this eligible list of options; new condition authorized dealer only, no open-box, no used, no refurbished – look for them at B&H Photo
  • You Must Own a Sony Full Frame camera from this list A7S III, A7R III, A7R IV, A9, A9 II; purchase time does not matter for this, you could also buy the camera together with the lenses
  • you must enter the information (serial numbers, etc) at the promotional Sony page
  • you will receive $100 to $200 per eligible lens; the amounts per lens are predetermined (typically the more expensive the lens, the higher the rebate)
  • you will receive the amount in about 2 months as a prepaid VISA gift card
  • check all the terms conditions and restrictions before jumping in
