More eBay Deals action where BuyDig’s eBay store has two options in their manufacturer refurbished Nikon D3300 listing. The default option is the D3300 with 18-55 DX VR for $330 (was $350). But if you change the option in the pull down menu [see annotated screenshot below], you can get it as a two lens kit with the 55-200 DX VR added for $400. (the picture in the gallery shows this as the 55-200 DX VR lens).
It’s IFA time in Berlin [see Trade Show Calendar] which means new hardware and such. Coincidence or not, Tamron has revealed two new Prime lenses for the Canon, Nikon and Sony-Alpha-Dyxum-Maxxum SLR mounts. The Canon and Nikon are stabilized (VC) but not the Sony. It is the 35mm f1.8 Di USD (VC) for $600, and the 45mm f1.8 Di USD (VC) for $600 as well. Pre-orders are accepted at B&H Photo and Adorama…

Canon has another iteration of their instant savings promotions (straight up purchase, no rebates, no coupons, no combined purchases) featuring various DSLRs and Lenses. The official Hasselblad email newsletter mentions a new promotion for the fourth quarter (Sept 1st until Dec 31, in 2015), if you purchase the Hasselblad H5D-50c medium format DSLR (regular or with Wifi), you will receive TWO free Hasselblad lenses (HCD 28mm lens AND the HC 2.8/80mm lens). The promotion mentions European prices, so I don’t know if it will also “translate” to USA retailers as well. Wait a few days or contact your favorite authorized Hasselblad retailer to see if they have the offer or not.
