    I recall when a comparatively rudimentary DSLR would set you back $2,500. The T5 is a very good entry-level DSLR. A neophyte could spend the next several years exploring its features and becoming really proficient in using those features.

    This price is incredible, especially when you take the one-year warranty into account. The only thing more Mr. Canon coud do for you is send you out on an expenses-paid date with his nubile daughter, or something like that.

    • Yeah, the early breakout days of DSLRs where there where a quartet of DSLRs breaking under the $2000 barrier! Now it’s almost 1/10th of the price!
