Since the D7500 is the latest model, currently going for $1250 in new condition in body only [see Stock Status Tracker], it’s probably a good idea to go refurbished if you are buying the previous generation (almost half the price of D7500), instead of getting a new D7200 that’s only $250 away from the D7500.
