The Dual part is because storage is accessible two different ways, from a full size USB 2.0 connector or a microUSB connector. Remember, your phone/tablet must support OTG in hardware and software for the microUSB connection to work. This is more something to check for older phones since newer phones (at least ones with microUSB that is) support it.
