This was a Groupon special but only available to Groupon the company 🙂 They have purchased competing social deals website LivingSocial for an unspecified low price. Another social deals site goes down, Amazon folded its own AmazonLocal, while NewEgg’s “NewEgg Flash” continues but it’s semi-integrated into the main NewEgg site now. As of a late 10/30/16 update of the Stock Status Tracker, the discount almost ended (it is $979 by Cardinal Photo, not Prime eligible). Alternately you can get it with a handful of free accessories for $1000 by Cameta thru eBay.
ORIGINAL POST: We just updated the Stock Status Tracker and we have some interesting news for fans of the Sony RX100 V, a discount! It looks like it may be a computer-generated price-match, so it may (or may not) last long. Amazon itself offers it for $956 while 3rd-party seller Cardinal Photo has it for $948 with free shipping (but not Prime eligible).

As of 11/1/16 re-check, the price returned to $15… The pack with 30 sheets of Polaroid 2×3 inch Premium ZINK Photo Paper is on sale for $10 at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of 90 per customer. This is currently the same price as the 20-pack, so you are getting 50% more for the same price. This is not a lightning deal.
This offer expired but they seem to have similar type of things every few weeks/months…
