Another update of the Stock Status Tracker has two new updates on the Panasonic GH5 and Fuji X-T2 front!
On the Panasonic GH5 front, the body only kit is bundled with a dizzying variety of extra small accessories for $2100 with free shipping by BuyDig on eBay: a Vivitar flash, Vivitar battery and charger, Vivitar bag, Corel Paintshop PRO X8 software, 64GB Lexar SDXC 300x card, spider tripod, and cables and cleaning supplies.
On the Fuji X-T2 front, the Graphite Body Only is available for $1665 in “Used – Like New” condition by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself, Amazon’s own used products persona. They even have two pictures of the actual item.
As usual, supplies of both used and high-demand new products are limited, so it may be sold out by the time you read this.

As of a late 3/12/17 re-check, this sold out… The big picture of the various X-T2 options at the Stock Status tracker.
The Fuji X-T2 graphite body only is currently available (one unit) in Used / Open-box condition for $1619 with free shipping by Cameta Camera on eBay. The new condition price is $1800.
The new condition Tamron SP 15-30mm f2.8 Di VC USD lens goes for $1100 after a $100 mail-in rebate along with 4% promotional rewards at authorized dealers (eg B&H Photo or Adorama (+ free digiframe)) in the Nikon, Canon and Sony A systems.
On the other hand, if you are comfortable with used lenses, and don’t want to deal with mail-in rebates, Adorama has two options on the Nikon version, in Used – Excellent Plus for $979 or in Used – Demo condition for $999. Shipping is extra and varies by zipcode (under $15 for the zipcodes I tested). Adorama offers a 30-day return policy and a 90-day warranty of their own on the used camera gear they sell on their website.
If you are comfortable with used camera gear, the Pentax K-1 full frame DSLR is available in “Used – Excellent Plus” condition for $1639 plus shipping at Adorama. The new condition price is $1800 at authorized dealers. Adorama offers a 30-day no-questions asked return policy on Used items, and a 90-day warranty covered by Adorama (not Pentax).
If you prefer a lower price for a higher risk purchase, you can get it in “Used – Very Good” condition (with various imperfections) for $1571 at Amazon Warehouse Deals (AWD) by AWD itself. Note however that AWD only offers a 30-day return policy. They do not offer any warranty.

To add to the option-overwhelm, the Sony a6300 with the 16-50mm is available in “Used – Condition 9” at B&H Photo for $930 with free shipping.
Used items at B&H come with a 90-day warranty from B&H. Given that B&H is a well-known and reputable dealer, this is a lower risk used purchase than buying from cookie-cutter eBay refurbishers and such.

The older non-stabilized Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 Di-II goes for $300 in new condition at authorized dealers, with some free accessories (eg Adorama). However, if you want to get the stabilized version, the new condition price is $649. However (oh no, breaking the golden rules of writing, two Howevers in a row!), if you are comfortable with used lenses…
Adorama is offering the stabilized version of the lens (“VC”) in “Used – Excellent Minus” condition in the Nikon mount for $269 plus shipping (under $10 for most zipcodes), and in “Used – Demo” condition in the Canon mount for $299 plus shipping (under $10 for most zipcodes).
Adorama offers a 90-day warranty of their own on used items they sell on their website.
As of a 2/10/17 recheck, they are out of used options… If you are comfortable with used gear, the DJI Mavic Pro is available in “USED – Very Good” condition (item will come repackaged it says over there) at Amazon Warehouse Deals, with Warehouse Deals (Amazon’s used sales persona) being the actual seller. As usual, used supplies are limited and their prices can change.
If you are comfortable with used camera gear, the brown color-scheme of the Fuji X-A3 with the 16-50mm lens is available in “Used – Like New” condition for $549~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself. They even have three pictures of the actual unit.

The new condition price at authorized dealers is $1400.
If you like to party like it’s a Four Thirds DSLR party, the Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED Zuiko Digital lens is available in used condition at B&H Photo for $380 (8+ condition) or $400 (9 condition). Free shipping. For the speed readers out there, this is a DSLR lens for the Four Thirds DSLR system. This is not a M43rds lens.

To compare, the new condition prices for $400 for the 1st generation, $550 for the 2nd generation, $700 for the 3rd generation, and $850 for the 4th generation, and $1000 for the 5th generation, at authorized Sony USA dealers. Notice a pattern?

I (finally!) just updated the Stock Status Tracker and we have some good news if you are a fan of buying used digital cameras, the Fuji X-T2 with the 18-55 lens option is available in “Used – Very Good” condition for $1662~ by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself. Of interest to Four Thirds DSLR photographers and adapter-erers, B&H Photo has the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 35-100mm f2 (Four Thirds) in Used Condition for $1000 in 8+ condition and $1100 in 9 condition and $1150 in 9+ condition. The new condition price is $1950 at B&H.
Canon and Nikon demand top dollar for their f2.8 zooms, but Shiguma offers photographers a more budget-friendly option with the $400 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM (which even gets some free accessories at Adorama or 4% promotional rewards at B&H Photo).
But if you are comfortable with used, you can get the Nikon version in “Used – Very Good” condition for $286~ at Amazon Warehouse Deals. Make sure you page down the listings to find the ones sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals (Amazon’s used sales arm). 3rd-party sellers sell them for slightly less but unless you are familiar or very comfortable with those sellers, you are better off paying a little bit more to get them from Amazon Warehouse Deals itself.
UPDATE: the new condition price jumped to $27… As far as I can tell the undying Amazon book coupon GIFTBOOK finally expired, but it doesn’t hurt to type it in just in case 🙂 Regardless, the October 2015 hardcover of National Geographic Rarely Seen: Photographs of the Extraordinary is on sale for $21.75 with the usual free shipping terms (Prime or $25+ in books or $49+ in general; of items shipped by Amazon).
It is currently the best seller among Photojournalism Books.

By last call I mean this is the last time I will post about this eBay listing before the auction ends on Tuesday at 12:42pm eastern. It is an eBay user listing of a New-Other Fuji X-T2 body only. As of Tuesday at 1:12am ET, it is at $1414 with 12 bids… The used options with a 3-year warranty by Cardinal Photo got scooped up, while the Olympus E-M1 II remains not in-stock (the best way to describe it).

Meanwhile as of the above check, the eBay auction for a USED “purchased two weeks ago” Fuji X-T2 body only. There are 34 bids with a $1525 price as of the time of writing, plus $16 shipping. The eBay seller has a 97.8% so be sure to research them ahead of time.
