Canon 7D Mark II Decision Points: Refurbished w/1yr warranty for $1200 -VS- New with Pixma Pro 100 and Extras for $1250 after $350 MIR

When it comes to the Canon 7D Mark II, the decision is more tricky between refurbished with one year warranty VERSUS brand new at authorized dealers. So let me present to you the options, and as usual, “we blog, you decide/deride” 🙂

At the refurbished Canon USA store sales, the 7D Mark II body only goes for $1200, while the 7D Mark II with 18-135mm goes for $1450. They come with a one year Canon USA warranty.

Now, the new condition price for the 7D Mark II body only at authorized Canon USA dealers is $1500, however, running in parallel are the Canon Pixma AMEX bundles. So if you do not object to mail-in rebates and prepaid AMEX gift cards, there are trade-offs to be made.
