SLR lenses are slowly catching up to the crazy zoom ratios of fixed lens cameras. Zeiss, Zeiss, Baby! I’m surprised Zeiss hasn’t hired Vanilla Ice yet for an April Fool’s Day “Zeiss Zeiss Baby” music video 🙂 While we are waiting for that though, Zeiss has revealed a new Milvus lens, the 35mm f/1.4, available for pre-order for $1999 with a late August 2017 release estimate at B&H Photo in the Canon EF (ZE) and Nikon F (ZF.2) systems.
