Samsung Trade-In Promotion Offers Up To $700 Credit Towards S21 flagships on select Galaxy, Pixels and iPhones [Cracked Screen Trade-Ins get $150 less]

The official Samsung USA online store is also offering a trade-in promotion for the new Samsung S21 three-headed flagship monster. The maximum you get is $700 with a working screen, or $550 with a cracked screen.

The trade-in credit promotion is stackable with the previously mentioned pre-order bonuses…

The trade-in credit depends on which smartphone you trade-in for the S21*. It also has to meet the eligibility requirements (starts up, functions, factory reset, no cracks on screen and lenses, not on a banned list). Please do double-check as I may have made a mistake in the assembly of this list:

Yesterday, a day after the official “Diet CES 2021” ended, Samsung revealed their new Galaxy S three-headed flagship monster, the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra [see Footnote #1]. If you missed the live unveiling, you can watch the 88 minute socially-distanced presentation (silver lining, COVID-era pre-recorded presentations start on time)

And as usual, Samsung is running a pre-ordering promotion until January 28 in 2021 with the freebies depending on which model you buy:

Samsung Galaxy S20 for $800, S20+ for $1000 [with FREE 128GB microSD]

Friday: Samsung Galaxy S10e offers starting at $399 with $50 Best Buy GC with Carrier Versions

Samsung is the word of the day at the Friday 4/17/20 Best Buy daily deals where the headliner is the unlocked Samsung Galaxy A50 going for $200 with activation or $250 without activation.

But the biggest deal is a promotion on the new condition Samsung Galaxy S10e. The offers depend on whether it’s Unlocked or carrier-version and whether you activate it with purchase, or you activate it later if-and-when you want to when you receive it and whether you pay it all or use a financing plan.

Three carrier options are available, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. These have installment plan options and one-time payment options. The Unlocked options cost $50 less if you select the activate it today. 256GB Samsung Fit Plus USB 3.1 small flash drive for $40

Sandisk is not the only one making short “thumb-size” USB flash drives. Samsung is making them too and for a limited time their 256GB FIT Plus (model MUF-256AB/AM) is on sale for $40 at B&H Photo and Amazon itself. Samsung says this is a *proof device (water, shock, magnet, temperature, x-ray) and comes with a 5-year warranty.

Great use for laptops so they don’t stick out or hooked to a smartphone/tablet using a short OTG cable [assuming your device is compatible] or used on the front USB ports of desktop computers or used as storage in smart TVs or digital TV PVR boxes [I did this with one of those cheap $30 OTA “DVRs”) or to play music in cars, and so on…

Monday: Samsung Chromebook sale ($200 to $400)

It’s Chromebook time of the Samsung kind. Along with the Levis jeans sale, the Monday Amazon USA Gold Box has a Samsung Chromebooks sale, with three models ranging from $200 to $400 with something for everyone!

The $200 model is the Chromebook 3 with a 11.6″ screen, 4GB RAM, 64GB on-board and Celery N3060 processor…

The other two models are 2-in-1s with touchscreens and with included Samsung S-Pens that are nestled inside the laptop body.

The PLUS has a 12.2″ screen (1920 x 1200, 4GB RAM, 64GB on-board, microSD slot with up to 400GB cards, Celery 3965Y, support for Google Play in parallel to ChromeOS [can be turned off is not needed]. This is the second generation (V2) model. This adds a USB-A port to the first generations two USB-C ports, so that’s one less dongle to carry. For HDMI or Ethernet, you need a USB-C/USB-A dongle.. It averages 4.7 out of 5 based on 21 customer reviews and it has nearly 50 answered questions… I haz the first generation and it’s really a great value for money if you can stomach Google-everywhere 🙂

The $400 model is the PRO in the line but it is the first generation with a 3.8 out of 5 based on 404 [foreboding number?] customer reviews. It has a 12.3″ screen with 2400 x 1600 [but Samsung recommends running it at a lower resolution for optimal performance] with 4GB RAM, 32GB on-board, Core M3-6Y30, 12.3″ display, etc.

When upgraded to the latest OS versions, you should also see an option for “Linux Beta”.

Limit two of each option per customer at the sale price. Sale ends on Tuesday at 3am ET or earlier for any that sell out.

On the other hand, if you don’t need the extra features (eg S-Pen), and you feel like a boldly-going explorer of a new brand, the Amazon page recommended this $250 Poin2 Chromebook (Poin2 is the brand name) with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 14-inch screen, 180-degree hinge, IPS, touchscreen, MediaTek quadcore, SD card reader, HDMI, USB 3.0 Type A, USB-C, etc. There’s also a $3.47 off discount if you select “No Rush Shipping”… This is the first time I heard of this brand, so this is strictly for the boldly-going types…

If 64GB is your favorite microSD size, the 64GB Samsung EVO Select microSD card is currently on sale for $11 each, with up to five per customer, at Amazon by Amazon itself… In terms of bang for the buck though, the 128GB goes for $20 each, while in terms of low price, the 32GB goes for $6 but it is an Add-On item… Meanwhile the 256GB option goes for $45… This is not a lightning deal, so expiration time and price-change is unknown [especially if prices are determined by Amazon’s AI/bots]…

Memory card doorbuster time at B&H Photo. They are offering the new condition 32GB Samsung EVO+ microSDHC card (UHS-I, U1, C10, with full size adapter) for $10. You can buy up to twenty of these at the sale price per shopping cart. As with most cards in this Samsung line, they are multi-proof (X-Ray, water, magnet), but keep in mind, nothing is totally indestructible ~ more so fragile little memory chips 🙂
