The Canon mail-in rebates (prepaid AMEX gift cards) has a new period picking up from the one that expired on 8/31/17. The new promotional period is September 1-30 in 2017. Eligible items have this updated on their product pages.

Canon G5X with Pixma PRO 100 and SG-201 for $650 after $350 MIR

The Canon G5X goes for $730 in new condition at authorized dealers (another one of the deals surfacing because of the Price Charts price-checking), but if you want to get it for less and you are not afraid of mail-in rebates and prepaid gift cards then…

Back to the eBay Deals with a de-UPC printer. That’s a printer whose UPC was removed from the box but it is otherwise unused/unopened. Most likely printers purchased using the Canon PIXMA mail-in rebates but not needed by their original owners and sold to others.

So if you don’t want to deal with the Canon PIXMA mail-in rebates and AMEX gift cards, you can get a new condition de-UPC’ed Canon Pixma PRO 10 printer for $340 with free shipping by eBay seller “Electronic City Inc” (99.3%, New York). Limit five per buyer.

This is a higher risk than buying new condition with UPC intact from authorized dealers, so it’s up to you to decide where you draw the line on risk and convenience (not having to deal with mail-in rebates (MIR) and/or gift cards).
