Various Storage Deals [ENDED: 128GB Transcend UHS-3 SDXC (TS128GSDU3) for $45]

As of 10/6/15 recheck, this sale ended. Amazon’s own listing is temporarily removed. The lowest price via 3rd parties is now $60. Thanks to one of our readers for the alert in the comments… The 128GB Transcend UHS-3 SDXC Class 10, model TS128GSDU3, with the markings of “R95, W60MB/s”, is on sale for $45 with free shipping, with a limit of five per shopping cart, at Amazon by Amazon itself.

Speaking of storage, and while there, their sale continues on the internal Sandisk SSD Plus (120GB for $48, 240GB for $70). These models are eligible for Sandisk’s new Installation Hand-holding service (they charge for it of course – you can buy a separate bundle that includes both the SSD and the Handholding Service).

On the external storage front, especially if you are fond of color-coding your backups, the 1TB Toshiba Canvio Connect II Portable Hard Drive continues for $50 in three of the five colors.

Speaking of Amazon, you can get this ePhoto bracketB Off Camera Flash Bracket and Umbrella Holder Adapter for $2. It usually ships in 2-4 weeks. Limit ten per customer. This is sold and shipped by Amazon itself. It averages 3.7 out of 5 based on 22 customer reviews. Let the price set expectations as they say.

Speaking of speaking of Amazon, if you are looking for a way to charge multiple USB devices without mooching off a computer, this Aukey 5-Ports 40W/8A Wall Charger in the white color scheme, is on sale for $10 in new condition. Limit 30 per customer. This can provide up to 2.4A per port. It does not support the new Quick Charge protocols. It averages 4.3 out of 5 based on 39 customer reviews… They also have a 4-port Aukey 30W / 6A USB Travel Wall Charger Adapter for $8 (limit 30; 4.6/5 on 86 reviews).

We continue this six degrees of separation thing, if you like to record photography documentaries from Over the Air TV (they have them on occasion), and if you are a fan of TiVO and watch Over the Air HD, they have bundled TiVO Lifetime Service with the Roamio OTA HD DVR (record up to 4 things at once) together for $300. The monthly TIVO fee is $15 (if you buy the DVR on its own for $50), so this bundle pays for itself in about 1.5 years.

Buy Olympus E-M1 body and a Zuiko Four Thirds Macro Prime (35/3.5 or 50/2), Get the MMF-3 Four Thirds Adapter for FREE

The GetOlympus store has an intermediate level deal going on right now. Especially of interest if you live at the intersection of M43rds and Four Thirds… The camera is M43, the lenses are Four Thirds below…

If you purchase the Olympus E-M1 body only (Micro Four Thirds) together with either one of these two Four Thirds Lenses (Zuiko 35mm f3.5 or 50mm f2 macro), and the MMF-3 Four Thirds adapter, the price of the MMF-3 adapter will be deducted from your total. Of interest if you use both M43 and Four Thirds or are happy to use the Zuiko prime with the MMF-3 adapter.

The steps are simple. Let’s break it down:

  1. Add the Olympus E-M1 body only (select color) to the shopping cart
  2. add either the Zuiko 35mm f3.5 macro (Four Thirds Lens) or the Zuiko 50mm f2 macro (Four Thirds Lens)
  3. add the MMF-3 Four Thirds adapter to the shopping cart
  4. click the yellow Proceed to Checkout button (page-down over there if you don’t see it)
  5. the price of the MMF-3 adapter ($179.99) will be deducted from your total
  6. no coupon/rebate – discount happens automatically while this promotion is running

Example
In the example below, we have in the shopping cart the E-M1 body only ($1100), the MMF-3 adapter ($180), and the 35mm f3.5 Zuiko ($230). Their total is $1510. Then the price of the MMF-3 is deducted from the total, making it $1330.
