Sony A77 II and A58 combined purchase discounts with select Lenses [and coupons]

A new variation of the combined purchase instant rebates is running for a couple of Sony Alpha pellicle-mirror dSLRs. You put one DSLR and one lens in your shopping cart, you enter the coupon code, and when you reach the checkout page, there is a combined purchase discount of $100 (either the 55-200 or 55-300 lenses) or $200 (the 18-135mm lens). This is a one-to-one promotion. If you put two lenses and/or two DSLRs and enter their coupons, you only get one discount. But you can buy them in separate transactions (I think – I obviously can’t buy them to test those type of limits).

So the eligible DSLRs for this promotion are the Sony a77 Mark II (either body only or with 16-50mm f2.8), and the A58 with 18-55mm kit. The coupon codes are listed over there. I won’t listen here because sometimes they change them, and I have no way of knowing that they changed.

The page does not specify an expiration date, so they are good until the coupon codes no longer work. Speaking of which, here is a screenshot crop example with the A58 w/18-55 and the 18-135mm added to the shopping cart. What you see is the top right corner of the Amazon Checkout page:

(ENDED) Camera & Photo Lightning Deals (Tue): Samsung NX30, NX3000, Sony NEX-6 again (?)

This bonus round of Amazon Camera and Photo Lightning Deals ended. The deals were worthy of their name this time! The NEX-6 w/16-50mm finally went live and it was at an even better price, $425! It was 97% claimed. So it turned out to be a good idea to wait for the Lightning Deal to finally materialize (in retrospect, it’s easy to say that).

The Samsung NX30 w/18-35 (so easy to mistype 18-55) went for $680 and was 100% claimed, while the NX3000 w/16-50mm went for $425 and was 53% claimed. Wouldn’t it be nice if every lightning deal round was filled with cameras like that? :)… Expired offers after the jump for the deal historians…
