Meanwhile the first generation Olympus E-M5 continues its farewell tour, it is gone from Adorama and Amazon itself (typo corrected; new keyboard, hand misalignment), but remains at B&H Photo for $500 with the 14-42mm kit lens in black Elite or silver or black.
If you are not afraid of mail-in rebates but you are fond of the Panasonic GM1, Adorama has a $50 mail-in rebate promotion on the Panasonic GM1 with 12-32mm kits. You can get them for $450 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The PDF of the rebate (promotion 5/18 to 5/30 in 2015) is available over there. All three colors of the GM1 are eligible, and per the PDF form, you can get one of each color for a total of up to three. The mail-in rebate is specific to Adorama, you cannot use it for other retailers.
Panasonic has a new micro four thirds camera available for pre-order today, it is the G7 that starts at $800 with the 14-42 kit lens or $1100 with the 14-140mm lens.
And already (!) there are deals on them. B&H Photo is offering exclusive two lens kits (14-42, 45-150) for $900, while Adorama is offering a free Audio-Technica AT8024 Stereo/Mono Camera-Mount Microphone ($250 on its own) with the $800 G7 w/14-42 kit. Nineteen Panasonic M43rds lenses are part of the current round of Panasonic Instant Savings at Adorama that expires 2/21/15. Most of them get 4% promotional rewards.
