Panasonic has a new micro four thirds camera available for pre-order today, it is the G7 that starts at $800 with the 14-42 kit lens or $1100 with the 14-140mm lens.
And already (!) there are deals on them. B&H Photo is offering exclusive two lens kits (14-42, 45-150) for $900, while Adorama is offering a free Audio-Technica AT8024 Stereo/Mono Camera-Mount Microphone ($250 on its own) with the $800 G7 w/14-42 kit. Also of note, B&H Photo has a super bundle with the G7, 14-140mm and 14mm lenses and Rode VideoMic Pro Compact Shotgun Microphone for $1300. These are estimated to ship around mid-to-late June 2015.
Optionally, the G7 pre-orders are also eligible for the Panasonic Bundle Savings. Among the lenses eligible for this combined purchase discount promotion are the 20mm f1.7 II, 25/1.4, 42.5/1.7, 30/2.8, 100-300/4-5.6, and more.

PS: if you are not familiar with the Panasonic line-up, this new G7 should not be confused with the older previously released GX7.
