If you are looking to jump into the promise and premise of “more compact than before” in the E-system, Olympus has created a new zoom kit based on the Olympus E-M5 III. It is the camera bundled with the Olympus 12-45mm f4 ED PRO lens (which currently goes for $649 on its own), all together for $1599 available for pre-ordering at B&H Photo. The E-M5 III body only on its own goes for $999. All three official E-M5 III kits include the Olympus FL-LM3 flash. This kit too is available in the two usual color schemes (black, silver-black)… The shipping estimate is currently early June 2019…

This time around it is at the Best Buy dailies, it is a bundle of a lens and camera, the new condition Olympus E-M5 II body only includes the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 lens for FREE, all together going for $899 with free shipping or free store pickup where possible.

The free lens is mentioned when you locate the tiny “Free item with purchase A $399.99 value” line in the ever-so-chaotic product pages… The E-M5 II on its own goes for $899 in new condition at authorized Olympus USA dealers… Best Buy alone has open-box options (for the E-M5 II body only; no free lens) starting at $540 (some of them may be local store pickup only)…

On the other hand, if you already have the 25mm lens or you want a zoom lens, there’s another E-M5 II kit bundled with the 14-150mm f4-5.6 II lens, sold as the “weatherproof kit” for $999 at authorized dealers such as Adorama and B&H Photo…

Finally it happened! An actual real camera is featured among the Amazon USA deals of the day. It is the new condition Panasonic G7 two lens kit with the 14-42mm and 45-150mm lenses offered for $498 with free shipping, sold and shipped by Amazon itself, with up to three kits per customer at the sale price. Sale ends on Wednesday at 3am ET or earlier if sold out.

The sale price is good for the black or the silver color scheme. Not sure if the limit three is per color or total.

Of course there are many and more options in the world of M43rds these days, especially if you factor in used and refurbished and grey-market options in the mix ~ that’s a fun headache to have 🙂

If you pay with an Amazon store card or the Amazon Chase VISA credit card, you will get a 5% statement credit (depending on whatever promotion your card is on).

If you don’t have either of those cards, pay attention to the Amazon product page and the promotional mini-banners up top. They usually run either 0% financing promotions (usually for the store card) or $XX off for the Chase VISA card.
