In-Stock Now: Fuji X-A5 in Brown and Pink

Another one of the New Cameras of 2018 is in-stock and shipping, in two of the three colors, it’s the Fuji X-A5 with the 15-45mm kit lens at its starting price of $599 with free shipping by Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo

Fuji X-T20 with 16-50mm and 50-230mm OIS II and Fuji Hand Grip and Various Extras for $1099

Price goofiness with the Fuji X-T20. The body only goes for $900 and that’s also the price for the kit with the 16-50mm lens. But add $200 to that, and you also get the Fuji XC 50-230mm (76-350mm) F4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens (which goes for $400 on its own), along with the Fuji Metal Hand Grip. On top of that, Adorama has additional freebies included as well:

+ Lowepro 140 Format bag
+ 16GB Sandisk Extreme SD
+ 58mm Pro Optic Filter Kit and 58mm MC UV
+ Slinger soft lens case
+ new Corel Software Bundle (four “on topic” titles)
+ various other small accessories

On the other hand, as we just previously mentioned, you can get the X-T1 for $600 or X-T1 Graphite for $650 and their battery grip (actual battery grip, not hand grip) is only $100.

Fuji X-T1 Graphite Silver body down to $649, X-T1 Black for $599, Battery Grip $99

If you have a soft spot for the Fuji X-T1 Graphite silver edition, it is now down to $649 with free expedited shipping, in new condition at B&H Photo!

Meanwhile the standard black X-T1 body only is down to $599 with free expedited shipping. And the X-T1 with 18-55 goes for $899. On the same listing, you’ll also find the X-T1 with 35mm for $998.

But that’s not all! The Fuji VG-XT1 Vertical Battery Grip goes for $99 with free expedited shipping at B&H Photo after you “add to cart”. No need for login song and dance, you just have to press the add-to-cart little thing.

This is a classic case of the trade-offs between getting the “latest generation” model versus the “previous generation”. But in this case, for the price of an X-T2, you can get two X-T1 Graphite body onlies AND two battery grips πŸ™‚

Fuji X-T2 Body Only for $1499 w/free S&H

The Fuji X-T2 body only currently goes for $1600 at B&H, Adorama and such, but as of the time of writing, you can get it for $1500 with free shipping by BuyDIG directly or by Beach thru Amazon. $1500 was its price in the November 2017 Price Charts.

Speaking of Fuji, a number of Fuji X-cameras, including the brand new X-H1 pre-orders get a FREE Domke-Fuji F803 camera bag.

First Fuji X-H1 deal arrives: FREE Domke F-803 Camera Bag

We have the first Fuji X-H1 deal already, shortly after I posted the Fuji X-H1 pre-order round-up. The first deal is this: if you pre-order it at Adorama, either as the body only for $1900 or with the battery grip for $2200, you will automatically receive a FREE Domke Fuji cobranded F-803 camera bag. You will get this for free as long as this is mentioned in the individual product page over there! Here’s a screenshot to make sure I did not hallucinate πŸ™‚

If the promotion rings a bell, that’s because this promotion is already in progress for other Fujis (X-T2, X-PRO2, select lenses).

Pre-order new Fuji X-H1 Camera and Battery Grip and Lens Bundles

We begin the Pre-Order-a-palooza that was promised with some of the new cameras and lenses that were officially announced this week, starting with the new flagship of the Fuji X-system, the new X-H1, with an in-body image-stabilization to boot! This is the fifth new mirrorless camera revealed in 2018 [see New Cameras of 2018 tracker], giving Mirrorless cameras a commanding 5-0 lead over Team DSLR.

FUJI X-H1 BODY ONLY
The Fuji X-H1 body only is available for pre-ordering for $1900 at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon by Amazon itself with a March 1st release estimate. Do note however that estimates are only estimates and they change over time!

BATTERY GRIP for FUJI X-H1
A flagship camera is not a flagship without a dedicated battery grip, and the X-H1 is getting the Fujifilm VPB-XH1 Vertical Power Booster Grip for $329, available for pre-ordering by Amazon itself and Adorama and B&H Photo.

There is also a pre-order option for the X-H1 bundled with the battery grip with a $30 combo discount, $2199 instead of $2229 πŸ™‚

FUJI X-H1 bundled with PRO LENSES
What if you also want a pro lens to go with the new X-H1? Fuji has created bundles with three of their existing X system pro lenses [not the new T2.9 cinema lenses] as follows:

+ X-H1 with 16-55mm for $2949
+ X-H1 with 50-140mm for $3349
+ X-H1 with 100-400mm for $3649
+ the above kits are also available with the official battery grip for +$300

You can find all these options at the organized product announcement pages at B&H Photo and Adorama and the search results at Amazon.

Preorder new Fuji X-H1 flagship camera

Fans of in-body camera image stabilization are now cheering another convert to the cause as the brand new Fuji X-H1 flagship camera has an in-body image stabilization that promises up to 5.5 stops if the stars and the lenses align (multiple puns intended).

Despite the H in the name, this remains an APS-C camera, not an APS-H camera.

The new Fuji X-H1 has a starting price of $1899 and it is available for pre-ordering at Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon by Amazon itself.

Fuji is also offering combined purchase discounts if one orders the camera with one of three Fuji pro lenses (their two f2.8 zooms or the 100-400). Details on the individual product pages above.

But that’s not all! Coming along with it are two Fuji Cinema T zoom manual lenses. Fuji is after all no stranger to cinema lenses. You can see all the new items available for pre-ordering at the new announcement pages at Adorama and B&H Photo. Amazon doesn’t have advanced technology like that, but you can see most of them in their search results

My Homework for Later Today
+ add the Fuji X-H1 to the Stock Status Tracker (the X100F will be retired from it at the same time)

+ update the New Cameras/Lenses tracker with all the new products of this week and post pre-order alerts for them

Fuji X-E2S with 18-55 f2.8-4 OIS for $680

The Fuji 18-55 f2.8-4 R LM OIS lens goes for $800 on its own in new condition (eg B&H Photo).

But you can get the lens for less, and get a camera body with it too! The good old Fuji X-E2S with the 18-55mm lens is now on sale for $680 with free shipping at Adorama in your choice of black color scheme or silver color scheme.

Or if you are an Amazon fan, you can get it for $680 by Amazon itself in either the black color scheme or the silver color scheme. They are “temporarily out of stock” but orderable.

The Fuji X-E2S body only goes for $420 on its own at the above places.

If you are a Prime member and pay with a Prime credit card, you’ll get 5% as a statement credit, that’s around $34…

Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 instant camera with Rainbow Film bundle for $55 w/free S&H

It’s instant camera action again! Amazon itself is bundling the Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 instant camera (available in four different color schemes) with a Rainbow Film bundle (ten exposure sheets) for $55 with free shipping with up to three bundles per color per customer. This is not a lightning deal so expiration time is unknown.

PS: I’m only using the name “Fujifilm” for Fuji film products. Digital products are Fuji, not Fujifilm since they don’t have film πŸ˜‰

Pre-order new Fuji X-A5 with 15-45 XC PZ OIS for $600

Mirrorless cameras just scored a second goal in 2018, giving them a 2-0 {corrected; I need a numeric keypad to type numbers apparently} lead over DSLRs in 2018. It is the new Fuji X-A5 mirrorless camera bundled with the all new 15-45mm f3.5-5.6 PZ OIS silver lens with a pre-order price of $600. This 24mp non-X-Trans APS-C camera will be available in three camera-body color-schemes [silver, brown, pink]. It looks like all of them come with the silver 15-45mm lens.

The camera comes with a variety of modern amenities and features, touchscreen, 4K, filters, etc.

It is available for pre-ordering for $600 at Amazon by Amazon itself (February 8 release estimate) and Adorama and B&H Photo (February 8 release estimate as well)…

Your pre-orders and purchases using our affiliate links help fund this blog which has very minimal advertising! If you want to help us keep going, then please consider making your purchases and pre-orders through our links here and in the sidebar and the Shop and Support page

The included lens is brand new from Fuji, and it is also available for pre-ordering separately for $300. For photographers who may want the lens only, it is may still be a better value to get the X-A5 kit and then sell/trade/gift the camera if you don’t want/need it or fall in love with it. Or wait until other people do this and buy the lens in the used market or the trade/exchange section of your favorite photo forums…

This too has been added to the New Cameras of 2018 tracking page.

Fuji X-E2S with Fuji 14mm f2.8 and Metal Hand Grip and Manfrotto case for $849

The Fuji X-system has been around long enough for many generations of released cameras so that gives you more price flexibility if you are willing to buy previous generations models. One such is the Fuji X-E2S body only going for $429 on its own at B&H Photo and Adorama and Amazon itself

But what if you want to dive into the Fuji X system with an “old school take pictures with kit”? = a camera with a prime lens instead of a zoom lens; yes, I’m still making up terms as I go πŸ™‚

IF that’s the case, comes to the rescue by offering the Fuji X-E2S with 14mm f2.8 XR and Hand Grip (the Fuji MHG-XE metal hand grip) along with the Manfrotto NX shoulder case, all together for $849 with free expedited shipping.

This is a great price if you happen to want/need both. The 14mm f2.8 lens goes for $800 on its own, eg Adorama and B&H Photo and Amazon itself.

Used Fuji X100F with 90-day warranty for $1050

Check the “In the Box” section further down on the right hand side of the B&H Used page to see what’s included with this used listing.

Fuji X-T10 with 16-50 and 50-230 for $589

Last Call: FREE 365-day on KEH Camera Used Purchases (BGN or better condition) until 12/31/17

The clock is now ticking for this KEH Camera promotion: used camera gear purchases, in condition “BGN” (Bargain) or better, get a free 365-day KEH warranty, instead of the usual 180-day warranty, IF the purchase is made by 12/31/17. There is no coupon code to enter, their system determines this based on the purchase time. Just don’t wait until 11:57pm on New Year’s Eve to place an order πŸ™‚

So the question is, how much do you value a 1-year warranty? For example, the used Fuji X100S goes for $650 at KEH Camera (condition “LN-” (Like New Minus) with a 1-year warranty, while prices at B&H Photo start at $580 in condition “8+” with a 90-day warranty…

Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film Bundle for $50

Back to the instant film cameras party, the new condition Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film Bundle in three different camera color options are on sale for $50 each at Amazon by Amazon itself with up to three bundles per color per customer. The fourth color (black) goes for $55 instead. This is not a lightning deal, so the price adjustments are market driven.

Fuji X-T10 body for $429, Two Lens Kit for $649

In addition to the refurb Nikons, Adorama is also having a Big Overstock Sale with over 8400 items participating. One of those is the new condition Fuji X-T10 body only going for $429 with free expedited shipping and $17~ promotional rewards in the black color scheme… Or if you have Amazon gift cards to spend, you can get it for the same price by Adorama through Amazon.

Or for $649 you can get an X-T10 2-Lens Kit with the 16-50mm and 50-230mm lenses, this being the silver color scheme. This kit also gets a FREE Joby GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Mini Tabletop Tripod at the moment.

There are of course many options in the Fuji X camera market these days, and with options come decision headaches πŸ™‚

Used Fuji X100F Black for $986

The new condition Fuji X100F big sensor prime continues to go for $1300 in new condition at authorized Fuji USA dealers. Even the freebies that are included, when they are included, are very basic. That strong is the new condition price. But while updating the Stock Status Tracker we noticed a breakthrough for the used prices of the black color scheme, they are under $1000 at two reputable photo dealers:

+ USED “Very Good” condition by MPEX via Amazon for $986
+ MPEX is Midwest Photo Exchange, ships directly from Ohio, not Prime eligible

+ USED Condition 8+ at B&H Photo for $1000

Fuji X-E2S Body with 14mm f2.8 R Lens and $50 GC & Fuji Hand Grip & Manfrotto Bag for $999

The Fuji 14mm f2.8 R lens goes for $800 on its own (eg B&H Photo, while the Fuji X-E2S body only camera goes for $499 with a $50 house gift card at Adorama.

But what if you want both of them? If so, Adorama has you covered! The Fuji X-E2S with the XF 14mm f2.8 R lens is offered for $999 with free shipping. You also receive for FREE the Fujifilm MHG-XE Metal Hand Grip AND the Manfrotto NX Shoulder CSC Bag AND a $50 Adorama gift card.

So compared to the body only, you pay $500 more and for that you receive the 14mm f2.8R lens, and the Fuji metal hand grip and the Manfrotto bag.

Fuji X-E2S body with $50 GC for $499 (w/18-55 for $300 more)

If of all the Fuji cameras it is the X-E2 body only the one you want, at the moment, Adorama is bundling it with a $50 Adorama gift card for $499 with free expedited shipping!

What if you want the camera AND the 18-55mm zoom? You can get the X-E2S with 18-55 OIS for $799 with free expedited shipping AND a $50 Adorama gift card.

The offer is available in either the silver or black X-E2 color scheme.

PS: if you want a prime lens, check the next post!

Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film for $60

On the instant film front, the new condition Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 with a Rainbow Film Bundle is on sale for $60 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual with up to three bundles per color per customer. Fuji X100F Black drops to $1274

While updating the Stock Status Tracker, I noticed an interesting development! The black Fuji X100F is down to $1274 at Amazon by Amazon actual with up to three per customer. The usual Fuji X100F is $1299. The amount of the discount is obviously not big, but an X100F discount is a rare thing from non-importers!

(SOLD OUT) Fuji X-A2 with 16-50mm XC + $14 Rewards for $360

As of a 12/9/17 recheck, this sold out and can no longer be ordered…

Adorama strikes again, this time they have a Fuji X-system offer! The Fuji X-A2 with the 16-50mm XC lens are available for $360 with free expedited shipping and $14~ in promotional rewards! This is the brown-silver color scheme. A nice price for a new condition “take pictures with” kit. This is an older model, it came out around CES 2015.

For more Adorama action, check their Cyber Monday 2.0 sale.

Fuji X-E3 kits get Free Accessories Bundles

I am updating the Stock Status Tracker, with the addition of the Sony a7r III, but both the a7r III and Nikon D850 remain not in-stock…

But I’m also going through the other cameras and removing all the ones that have been steadily in-stock or had steady prices throughout. The Fuji X-E3 is one that fits this pattern, but it goes out with a parting shot. The prices remain the same but it getting free accessories with purchase, especially at Adorama where you get the Corel software bundle, a Lowepro Format 140 bag, a 16GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC card, a card reader, a card wallet, and the obligatory cleaning kit.

Fuji X-T1 Body for $649, X-T1 Graphite Body for $749

The Fuji X-T1 body with a free 35mm f2 WR lens offer for $800 has not returned for Black Friday, but Fuji has discounts on both X-T1 body options! The X-T1 body only goes for $649 with free accessories at B&H Photo, while the X-T1 Graphite body goes for $749 at B&H Photo (with 4% promotional rewards) and Amazon itself.

Adorama does not have them on sale, while Amazon is out of the X-T1 kits.

Fuji Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film Bundle for $50

If I could stop time, I would organize all the Fuji Instax deals in a single post, but the deals keep on flowing, no time to stop! You can find all the latest Instax related offers under the Fuji category.

Which brings us to another Instanx sale, the new condition Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film Bundle is on sale for $50 with free shipping by Amazon itself. The white color scheme is in-stock, the other two are “temporarily out of stock”. Limit up to three per color.

Fujifilm instax mini 9 Instant Film w/10-expo for $50

After this post, I am digging into the Lightning Deals which I haven’t checked in six hours!

The new condition Fujifilm instax mini 9 Instant Film is on sale for $50 with free shipping and with ten free exposures until Black Friday at 4:30pm ET at B&H Photo. That’s when B&H stops taking orders for their usual Friday PM to Saturday PM Sabbath closing. So if you are planning B&H Black Friday purchases, don’t wait until late in the day!

The same price is available at Amazon by Amazon itself but no free exposures.

PS: if you are having a deja vu, the instant camera we mentioned earlier today was the $90 Mini 90 Neo Classic πŸ™‚

Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic with 10pk film for $90

Yesterday it was going for $100 but today it dropped another $10 going for $90 with free shipping until Friday night, it is the new condition Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic bundled with ten free exposures at B&H Photo. The same price is at Amazon but no free exposures.

Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 90 Neo Classic Instant Camera for $100

The new condition Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 90 Neo Classic Instant Camera is now on sale for $100 with free expedited shipping at B&H Photo which includes a free 10-exposure film. That’s the main listing. When you look at the other sub-tabs, there are more film combos for just a few dollars more.

This also goes for $100 with free S&H at Amazon by Amazon itself (limit up to three per camera color) but there’s no free film there.

Fuji X-T1 body only for $650, Graphite for $750, X-T1 w/18-55 and VG-XT1 for $1099

Fuji X-T1 time again! The free 35mm promotion has NOT returned, but B&H Photo has a new set of discounts on the camera in new condition:

+ X-T1 body only for $649

+ X-T1 body only with Extras for $649
+ Extras: 16GB Sandisk SD, Watson extra battery, Ruggard holster, microfiber cloth

+ X-T1 Graphite Silver body only for $749 with $30~ promotional rewards

+ X-T1 with 18-55 and VG-XT1 Vertical Battery Grip for $1099

Fuji GFX-50S body with GF 63mm f2.8 for $7000 [or other options]

And now it is time for our weekly medium format post πŸ™‚ The new condition Fuji GFX-50S medium format body only goes for $6500 but if you want a “take pictures with” kit, thanks to Fuji’s current round of instant savings, you can get it with the GF 63mm f2.8 together for $7000 at Amazon by Amazon itself.

Amazon appears to have “solved” their combined purchase discount problem of the old days where you had to manually add things to cart and such. Now they are pre-creating listings with the eligible items. Screenshot example below:

Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 + Rainbow Film Bundle for $55

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 26 with the Rainbow Film Bundle is on sale for $55 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit up of to three per customer. This is available in the White and White/Blue color schemes. It averages 4.5 out of 5 based on 420+ customer reviews and has 50+ answered questions.

Fuji X-A10 with 16-50mm drops to $350

Another big discount this week. Last week the Fuji X-A10 with 16-50mm was going for $500 [see Mirrorless Price Charts]. This week it is down to $350 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself (limit 3) and B&H Photo (with free 32GB Extreme SD and Bag) and at Adorama.

This is certainly a nice price for a “take pictures with” kit as an entry-level entry-point in the Fuji X system. But the Fuji X system has been around for a while now, so you have more options in the used market if you prefer a more advanced camera. The Fuji X-T1 is in this ballpark used, but its new condition price dropped too this week, it is back down to $800 at B&H Photo. However a few weeks ago, Fuji had a promotion on the X-T1 at this price, with a free 35mm f2 lens. I do not know if they are planning to bring back this promotion for the holiday shopping season.

Meanwhile the Fuji X-A3 with 16-50mm remains at $550 (eg Adorama), just as it was last week. So reading the price change tea leaves, Fuji is encouraging shoppers towards the X-A10 at this time.

(SOLD OUT) Used Fuji X-T1 body for $399 + S&H

As of a 11/16/17 AM recheck, this sold out at the $399 price. Supplies of used cameras are limited so they run out differently than new condition prices. Also prices are more volatile since they depend on more factors…

If you are comfortable with heavily used and scratched cameras that are still functional though, Adorama has the used Fuji X-T1 body only in “Used – Good” condition for $399 plus shipping (around $10) with a 90-day Adorama warranty and a 30-day return policy. If you don’t see it in the listings, it means it sold out since this was posted. Used supplies are typically limited.

The above may be of interest if you are looking for a non-entry-level entry into the Fuji X-system. On the other hand, if you prefer a “take pictures with” kit, the Fuji X-A10 with 16-50mm goes for $350 at various sellers including Amazon by Amazon itself (limit 3) and B&H Photo (with free 32GB Extreme SD and Bag) and at Adorama.

(SOLD OUT) Fujifilm instax mini 8 Instant Film Camera for $49

As of a 11/16/17 AM recheck, this is sold out and is no longer available for purchase (discontinued type of a listing)…

Pastel colors time! The new condition Fujifilm instax mini 8 Instant Film Camera is on sale for $49 with free shipping at B&H Photo in three of the five colors (blue, grape, raspberry)…

Used Fuji X70 rawsumer for $499 + S&H

The price checking continues for RAWsumer cameras. The new condition Fuji X70 goes for $700 at authorized dealers, but if you are comfortable with used, you can get it in “Used – Excellent condition” for $499 plus shipping and with a 90-day Adorama warranty at Adorama along with a 30-day return policy.

Used Fuji X100F for $1050 (black) or $1080 (silver)

The RAWsumer price-checking continues. The Fuji X100F big sensor prime remains at $1300, but if you are comfortable with used, the following options are available:

+ the black color is available at B&H Photo for $1050 in “USED – Condition 9”

+ the silver color is available at Amazon Warehouse Deals (by Amazon, not 3rd-party sellers) for $1080 in “Used – Very Good” condition

Used Fuji X-T10 body for $369

Price-checking has began again as I’m working on the Mirrorless segment of the Price Charts series.

Fuji has many X-cameras now. If your research and price points are pointing towards a used Fuji X-T10, there are a lot of options under $400 at the moment for the body only. Adorama and Green Mountain Camera are fighting for the $369 price point at Amazon Warehouse Deals in “Used – Like New” condition.

Meanwhile KEH Camera, which offers a 180-day warranty [factor that into the price since warranties cost money to offer] offers it for $379 plus shipping in “Used EX+” (Excellent Plus) condition. Or for $20 more for an “LN-” condition (LN = Like New).

Used prices of the X-T20 are almost twice as much at the moment.

Open-box Fuji X-E3 with 18-55 for $1149

The new condition Fuji X-E3 with 18-55mm kit goes for $1299 at authorized dealers but if you want to save some, authorized dealer OneCall is offering in open-box condition for $1149 with free shipping and they come with the full manufacturer warranty.

Fuji X-PRO 2 body only with extras for $1500

The Fuji X-PRO 2 body only recently (not sure when) dropped from $1700 to $1500 at authorized dealers, and at the moment Adorama is bundling four freebies with it, the Corel software bundle, a 32GB Fuji SDHC card, a 24/7 Traffic Collection holster, and a cleaning kit. This too surfaced while doing the price-checking for the upcoming Price Charts series for this week.

One change for this edition, I am dropping the Leica cameras from the 35mm full frame chart to simplify things and make it more readable. There’s nine of them ranging from $4000 to $8000. More noise than signal πŸ™‚ They are staying in the Mirrorless and the other Price Charts. They are getting dropped only from the 35mm Full Frame chart because they are overwhelming it πŸ™‚
