Tigerdirect is celebrating its 27 year anniversary, and to celebrate that, they have a $27 off a purchase of $270 or more promotion. This promotion is a two step. First you request the coupon to be sent to your email address. Then you wait a few seconds and check your email. Your email from Tigerdirect will include a personalized link that includes a long-ass unique coupon code. You click on that link, and the discount is automatically activated. Then, as the activation page explains: “you place an order online over $270 (not including sales tax and shipping) and $27 will automatically be deducted from your order total in your shopping cart.”… It looks like more retailers are dabbling more in “personalized” (unique) coupon codes instead of general purpose coupons…
