I just updated the Stock Status Tracker and the situation remains. The Sony a7r III is in-stock at multiple authorized dealers, while the Nikon D850 remains elusive.
The pull for the hard to find Nikon D850 may be strong but resist the temptation to do something very risky/stupid, like buying the camera from random “Just Launched” sellers that offer it on Amazon. Nothing good will come out of such a purchase for you. Resist the temptation! Unfortunately these keep popping up faster than Amazon can take them down.
