Another update of the Stock Status Tracker has two new updates on the Panasonic GH5 and Fuji X-T2 front!
On the Panasonic GH5 front, the body only kit is bundled with a dizzying variety of extra small accessories for $2100 with free shipping by BuyDig on eBay: a Vivitar flash, Vivitar battery and charger, Vivitar bag, Corel Paintshop PRO X8 software, 64GB Lexar SDXC 300x card, spider tripod, and cables and cleaning supplies.
On the Fuji X-T2 front, the Graphite Body Only is available for $1665 in “Used – Like New” condition by Amazon Warehouse Deals itself, Amazon’s own used products persona. They even have two pictures of the actual item.
As usual, supplies of both used and high-demand new products are limited, so it may be sold out by the time you read this.

Both Canon and Nikon have a large number of APS-C DSLR options in the market, especially if you are also willing to consider open-box and refurbished and used, so deciding which one to get can be more complicated than it appears. Another update of the Stock Status Tracker has breaking news for Panasonic GH5 hunters, the camera is in-stock, bundled with the 12-60mm Elmarit lens (gold writing; H-ES12060 name versus H-FS12060 for the non-Elmarit) along with a few free accessories (batteries, memory card, etc) for $3000 by Focus Camera on eBay. The GH5 goes for $2000 on its own, and the 12-60mm Elmarit lens goes for $1000 on its own (eg Adorama). As of the time of writing, they have TWO bundles available.
Instant cameras continue to survive and advance, partly as a counter-culture to the abundance of digital photography, and Fuji is taking advantage of this by continuing to develop their Instax line of products. Their new Instax Mini 9 instant camera is now available for pre-order for $69 with free shipping, in five pastel-y color-schemes at Amazon by Amazon itself.

This expired: One of the Tuesday Best Buy daily deals is a sale on the Sandisk Ultra PLUS SD cards with the 64GB going for $28 and the 32GB going for $18 with free shipping and store pickup. It’s easier to offer free shipping on a tiny little thing such as a memory card 🙂
The PLUS models are faster than the non-PLUS models according to the Sandisk website. The model numbers are different too. The 64GB Ultra PLUS is SDSDUSC-064G-AN6IN while the non-PLUS is SDSDUNC-064G-GN6IN. Visually you can tell the non-PLUS by the absence of the PLUS in the pictures (assuming the retailers use the correct pictures which is not always guaranteed; eg Best Buy on eBay linked in the first paragraph). If you don’t need the extra speed, the non-PLUS currently goes for $22 at Amazon by Amazon itself.
The Best Buy daily deal price ends Tuesday night. The Amazon price is an organic or price-match or dynamic market-driven price; to cut a long story short, I have no clue when that price will change 🙂

Photography ebooks and camera manuals are not ideal to be read on an e-ink screen for most people with the current technology level, but there is a small number of text e-books about photography, eg, photography essays including the classic read “On Photography” by Susan Sontag.
