Temptation time! The Samsung Chromebook PLUS (PLUS = ARM processor; PRO = Intel) Convertible Touch Laptop, model XE513C24-K01US, is on sale for $379 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of up to three per customer.
Of interest if you want a multi-purpose device, as you get a ChromeOS laptop that can officially run Android apps through Google PLAY, a touchscreen display, a built-in and included Samsung stylus (S-Pen), a non-widescreen aspect ratio, a 360-degree rotating screen, and more.
This will not replace a Photoshop machine, but you can use it for all kinds of other tasks. Also handy when on assignment or when working with others, you can put it in Guest mode or they can login with their own Google account and pick up quickly from where they left off.
The PRO (Intel) model remains at $550 and was the one that got delayed because of hardware and software issues.
PS: I don’t know if the included S-Pen is compatible with (or which) other Samsung devices that have their own version of the S-Pen (phones, tablets, laptops, etc).
PS2: one lesser known feature of ChromeOS is that you can login with multiple Google accounts at the same time and switch between them as needed. You don’t have to login and logout all the time. Handy if you use it for both personal and work, or have one account with paid subscriptions (eg YouTube RED or Music All Access or extra Google Drive storage).

LED Light Bulbs, especially of the A21 kind are everywhere these days, but the ones you commonly find are of the 40W or 60W equivalent kind. If you want the 100W equivalent kind, the new 6-packs by AmazonBasics are now in-stock and shipping. A 6-pack of Soft White (2700K, 1300 lumens) goes for $19.24, while a 6-pack of Daylight (5000K, 1400 lumens) goes for $18.26. Limit three six-packs per option per customer during this sale. The 6-packs are priced very close to the 2-packs. This is not a lightning deal.

This may sound a bit counter-intuitive if you hadn’t heard of it before, but Amazon has a new feature where you walk into a brick and mortar chain store, you hand them cold hard cash, and said cold hard cash magically appears as a balance in your Amazon.com account. You pay no fees for this service (take that PayPal!).
To encourage people to use this relatively new Amazon Cash service, Amazon has launched a new promotion. If you load $20+ before 7/31/17, you will receive (later via email) a $10 Amazon promotional store credit to spend in the future. So if you load exactly $20, it’s like getting 50% more. The $10 promotional store credit must be spent by 8/31/17. The $20+ balance is a gift card balance, it never expires.
A barcode is generated that is a link to your Amazon account. You show that barcode at the B&M store when you load your cold hard cash. The bar code can be generated with a web browser or using the Amazon app. Details on how to generate and save it at the linked pages. You can even print it.
A number of chain stores are participating in this promotion, including GameStop, CVS, Fred’s, Speedway, KwikTrip, and more.
