There’s about one week left in the current iteration of the Fuji X-System Instant Rebates featuring the X-T1, X-T10 and X100T digital cameras and a handful of primes and zoom lenses. No coupons, no rebates, the price you see is the price you pay. Some of the items may also get promotional rewards and/or freebies. Details on the individual product pages.
The Fuji X-T1 body only goes for $1000 in new condition at authorized Fuji USA dealers which are allowed to include free items with it, for example, B&H Photo includes the official Fuji battery grip for it, while Adorama includes a variety of general-purpose accessories.
But if you are comfortable with buying imported grey-market items that come with a 1-year seller warranty (not from Fuji USA), then to the Trending eBay Deals we go where eBay seller “Electronics Valley” (99.6%, ships from New Jersey) is offering the new condition imported grey-market Fuji X-T1 Body Only for $679 with free shipping with a limit of five units per customer.
As usual with imported items, it is up to you to decide on a per item basis whether the risk is worth the lower price. We blog, you decide!
This burst of updates in a tape-delayed faux-summer Monday is headlined by this Fuji X-T1 w/18-55 bundle at B&H Photo going for $1400 with free shipping as a limited time offer (no coupon code needed). You get the standard Fuji X-T1 with 18-55 kit along with these free accessories included automatically in your order by B&H Photo: 4% promotional rewards on future purchases, the Fujifilm VG-XT1 Vertical Battery Grip (nom-nom-nom as a freebie [do not actually eat this!], it goes for $193 on its own), a Hoya 58mm alpha MC UV Filter, an extra Watson battery, a 16GB Sandisk SD card, and a holster bag.
More X-System action, Adorama has a bundle on the Fuji X-E2 Body Only (Silver) for $499 with free shipping. You get three free items with purchase, the official Fuji half case, an additional Fuji battery, and a 24/7 small holster bag. This too is doing its farewell tour, the black body-only is gone (can no longer be ordered) and of the kits with the 18-55, the silver sold out since last week, but the black w/18-55 remains as of the time of writing.
On the X-System front, Adorama has a bundle on the Fuji X-E2 with 18-55mm kit. You get three free items with purchase, the official Fuji half case, an additional Fuji battery, a 24/7 small holster bag, for $689 with free shipping in the black X-E2 kit.
NOTES: This fell off the front page, and since last week, the silver X-E2 kit sold-out and can no longer be ordered, so this may as well be a last call of sorts. The other difference is it no longer earns $28 in promotional rewards, but the other three free items continue.
On the X-System front, Adorama has a bundle on the Fuji X-E2 with 18-55mm kits. You get four free items with purchase, the official Fuji half case, an additional Fuji battery, a 24/7 small holster bag, and $28 in promotional rewards for $689 with free shipping in either the black X-E2 kit or the silver X-E2 kit… This is one of their Memorial Day Weekend Sale specials…
Picking a superzoom digital camera is no easy task if you do not like to swim in a flotilla of choices. Among the newest choices is the Fuji S9900W (50x optical), currently on sale for $170 with free shipping and $6.80 in promotional rewards (to be used on future purchases) at Adorama. Offer ends 6/1/16.
Fuji X-T1 kits with FREE Fuji VG-XT1 Battery Grip and Either More Free Accessories OR 4% Rewards at Standard prices
The Fuji X-T1 kits are on sale as part of the Fuji instant savings, but that’s not all! Adorama is bundling a handful of free accessories at the same prices as the standard kits without the free accessories. And the free accessories in this case are not trinkets! You get the Fuji VG-XT1 Battery Grip, which goes for $200 on its own.
Depending on the kit, in addition to the battery grip, you can either get 4% promotional rewards or even more free accessories, varying slightly by kit: an extra battery, a Sandisk Memory Vault, a lens filter (for the kits with lenses), a shoulder camera bag, a cable and cleaning kit. Check the different kits on each camera by clicking on the various product option tabs over there.
Kits that get these freebies include the black X-T1 body only for $1000 (battery grip and other extras) and the Graphite Silver X-T1 body only for $1200 (only the battery grip, 4% rewards) and the black X-T1 with 18-55 for $1400 (battery grip plus 4% rewards OR other free accessories) and the black X-T1 with 18-135 for $1600 (battery grip plus 4% rewards OR other free accessories)
Fuji has a new round of instant savings on various items in their X-System, good until 7/2/16.

As of the time of writing, there is no pre-order option, but pre-orders will open on June 9 in 2016. Fuji has a new Fuji XF 2x TC WR Teleconverter coming up, with a starting price of $450 that is compatible with the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR and XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lenses. Details and specs of this at B&H Photo.
Likewise, the new Fuji LH-XF23 Lens Hood for the Fuji XF 23mm f/1.4 R lens will start at $70.
PS: I don’t know if camera manufacturers now seem to think they are Apple at the height of the iPhone hype with all these multi-stage announcement/pre-orders, but what do I know? 🙂
The Fuji X-PRO2 goes for $1700 with free accessories at authorized dealers, eg Adorama (Corel imaging software included).
But if you are comfortable with imported grey-market items with a 1-year seller warranty (instead of Fuji USA warranty), among the latest eBay Deals, eBay seller “Electronics Valley” (99.6%, ships from New Jersey) is offering new condition imported grey-market Fuji X-PRO2 Body Only for $1500 with free shipping, with a limit of five per customer.
NOTE!!!: this is a YMMV promotion!

Also among the longer-running Woot offers, good until 5/23/16 at 1am ET is a sale on Fuji Instax Mini 8 instant cameras. You have to pay attention to the listings of the three colors. The pink is in new condition with a 1-year warranty and goes for $50. The white is refurbished with a 90 day Woot warranty and goes for $50. The blue is refurbished with a 90 day Woot warranty and goes for $60. So Pretty in Pink is the best deal. Limit three units per color per customer. Shipping is $5 flat for everything you buy from Woot during a single calendar day in the central time zone.
(ENDED) Refurbished Fuji Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera for $43 w/free S&H (six color choices; 90-day warranty)
This sale ended with 460 units sold per the eBay listings…
The Fujifilm INSTAX Mini Instant Film Twin Pack (20 total sheets, 2×10) is on sale for $12.48 at B&H Photo and Adorama (buy 2 or more for $12.38 each) and Amazon itself… Shipping depends. Prime members get free 2-day shipping. For everybody else, shipping is free with an order of $49 or more.
PS: for the speed readers out there, this is the “Instax Mini” film.
The Fuji X-T1 body only goes for $1300 at authorized dealers, while the kit with the 18-55mm goes for $1700. Authorized dealers are allowed to bundle it with free accessories and promotional rewards, eg Adorama.
But if you are more of a risk taker and comfortable with imported grey-market items, among the latest eBay Deals, eBay seller “Electronics Valley” (99.6%) is offering the new condition imported grey-market with a 1-year seller warranty (not Fuji USA) Fuji X-T1 body only for $700 with free shipping. On that listing, you can also select the X-T1 with 18-55mm for $1150. Change the “MPN” option in the menu to switch between the two. It shows product numbers instead of human-readable model names, but there are only two options, 16421452 (Body Only),16432786 (Body+18-135mm Lens).
Kudos to this eBay seller for clearly filling in the warranty details in the eBay “Item Specifics” where it specifies that it does not come with a manufacturer warranty and that it is an import item with a 1-year seller warranty. Also kudos for having a big banner further down the product description saying this is an “IMPORT MODEL”. Annotated screenshot crop below:
This is a step in the right direction for retailers: giving the consumer all the information needed to make an informed decision.
Fuji started a successful run with APS-C Big Sensor Primes with the X100 and now their line-up has expanded and prices decreased too. The brand new Fuji X70 sells at its starting price of $700 but you have a choice of freebies. At B&H Photo you get a free Fujifilm BLC-X70 Leather Case (Black) automatically included by B&H. This is mentioned right above the Product Highlights (see annotated screenshot crop below):
If you don’t need the official case, or you prefer a boatload of free accessories, Adorama is bundling it with Corel software bundle (includes AfterShot PRO 2 and Paintshop PRO X8) along with a ProOptics 49mm Essentials Filter kit, a Lowepro pouch, a 16GB Toshiba SD card, and the obligatory cleaning kit.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Instant Film Camera in the yellow color option is on sale for $99 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself. Limit five per customer. If yellow is not your color, the sale also includes the blue and white camera bodies that go for $100 each with a limit of five as well. A 3rd-party seller has them for the same price, so you can get more from them if you need more.
TIP: this looks like it may be an automated Amazon price-match of the 3rd-party seller price, so it’s completely unpredictable how long this will last.
If you need plenty of Fuji Instax Mini Instant Film there is a bundle that contains 10 Twin Packs (20 instant films per Twin Pack) along with 100 photo frame stickers (see gallery picture #4 over there) and a microfiber cleaning cloth for $138 with free shipping with the order fulfilled by Amazon so you get free Prime shipping. Limit three bundles per customer.
If of the many compacts with RAW it is the black Fuji X10 the one you want, you can get it for $300 with free shipping by SSE Photo & Video thru Amazon. This ships directly from the seller (SSE Photo & Video) but if you are a Prime member, you will get Prime shipping benefits (this was a recently added benefit to Amazon Prime, select sellers offer free 2-day shipping on products purchased by Prime members ~ not sure how the cost is split between the seller and Amazon but that’s their behind the scenes thing, not the consumer’s)… Thanks to S.A. Anderson for the email alert on this…
PS: for the speed readers out there, this is the older Fuji X10 fixed lens camera, not to be confused with the newer Fuji X-T10 interchangeable lens camera.
Among the longer non-daily deals at Woot, there is a mini camera sale good until 4/28/16 at 12am central featuring three models:
+ new condition Canon SX530 HS superzoom for $190
+ refurbished yellow Fuji XP80 waterproof for $90
+ refurbished white Fuji Instax Mini 8 instant camera for $50
The limit is three of each camera per customer. Shipping is $5 flat for everything you buy from Woot in April 2016, so if you already bought something, you won’t pay shipping again in April 2016. This may be an experiment to try a monthly/annual membership or a competitive counter to the $5 per month Meh.com MVP plan (they funnily call is VMP rather ironically!).
The Fuji X-T10 body only goes for $800 or for $900 with the 16-50 at authorized Fuji USA dealers (eg Adorama).
But if you are more of a risk taker, among the latest eBay Deals, seller “Electronics Valley” (99.5%, New Jersey) is offering the new condition imported grey-market Fuji X-T10 body only for $500 with free shipping, in black or silver, with a 1-year warranty from the seller (not from Fuji USA).
I don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but when buying imported items, don’t just buy them because it’s a much lower price. Make sure you are comfortable with the risks and trade-offs of such purchases. Ultimately you are the one who is going to have to sleep and live with the decision and as such, you are the ultimate decider of what’s an acceptable risk to take. (all apologies if this may sound a little Nanny-State-ish but some people may not be familiar with the whole imported vs authorized kerfuffle. In situations like this it is mayhaps better to err on the side of caution).
Adorama has a couple of Fuji X-E2 specials, whether the camera is bundled with the Fuji HG-XE1 Hand Grip for free. You can get the silver X-E2 body for $499 with free shipping, or the X-E2 with the 18-55 f2.8-4 R LM OIS for $699 in either silver kit or black kit. The free Hand Grip will be included automatically by Adorama while this “while supplies last” promotion continues.
But if you are more of a risk taker and imported grey-market items do not give you nightmares on Warranty Street, then among the latest eBay Deals we find a new condition imported grey-market Fuji X100T with a 1-year seller warranty (not Fuji USA warranty) going for $800 with free shipping in either black or silver. The seller is Electronics Valley (99.5%) and it ships from New Jersey.
As usual with these type of situations, it is up to you to decide what’s right for you and how much risk and adventure you are willing to invite. We blog, you decide!
Speaking of eBay, they have a semi-curated refurbished camera gear sale with 60+ items included.
The white color scheme of the Canon PIXMA MG2920 all-in-one (AiO) printer is currently going for $20 with free shipping at Adorama… No coupons, no rebates… Optionally you can add a 20pk of Fuji 4×6″ photo paper for +$4 (expand the yellow “Special Offer” section to see this)… Offer ends 3/20/16 or earlier if sold out…
We have a “mini” instant camera theme now, first with a real camera, and the next post below with an imaginary camera. The real instant camera is this, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera currently on sale for $49 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon itself with a limit of five per customer. This is available in black, blue and pink at these prices.
The Fujifilm FP-100C 3.25 X 4.25 Inches Professional Instant is currently going for $15 each, with a limit of 30 per customer at Amazon by Amazon itself. However, the shipping estimate is 2-4 weeks, so if you are in a hurry, this will not arrive right away.
And now back to the deals front. If you are Fuji X-System curious and don’t need to have the “latest and greatest” model, Adorama has a “take pictures with sale”, offering the Fuji X-E2 with the XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS Lens and the official Fuji HG-XE1 Hand Grip, all together for $699 with free shipping in either the silver X-E2 kit or the black X-E2 kit. Offer expires 3/8/16 or earlier if sold out.
This is an “if the stars align” type of a deal, if you need the Fuji X-T10 camera, and the 18-55 f2.8-4 R OIS LM lens and the 35mm f2 WR lens, you can get them all together as a bundle for $1249 with free expedited shipping at B&H Photo in either the silver-black kit or the black kit… In comparison, the X-T10 with 18-55 kit goes for $950 on its own and the 35/2 lens goes for $400 on its own. The X-T10 body only goes for $650, and the 18-55 lens goes for $500 on its own…
CORRECTION: the 35mm lens is a 35mm f2, not a 35mm f2.8. Thanks to Mike in the Comments for pointing it out!
If you are interested in the Fuji X system, there is a new round of instant savings promotions featuring X cameras, X lenses and X combos. UPDATE: you can also find a variety of Fuji X Instant Savings offers at Adorama. They have an ever-scrolling style page, so keep scrolling down to see more options.
