Imported Sony a6000 with 16-50mm for $560

Sony has many options now-a-days in the E-mount, both APS-C and full frame cameras, just look at all the Sonys in the Mirrorless Price Chart. If of all those options you are settled on the Sony a6000 with 16-50mm, it currently goes for $650 at authorized Sony USA dealers, which are allowed to add a handful of free accessories such as Adorama.

But if you are comfortable with imported grey-market cameras, then to the eBay Deals we go, where RedTag Camera is offering this kit as imported grey-market for $560 with free shipping. There is no mention of warranty in the listing, so assume there is no warranty included.

Now shipping: Panasonic GH5 with 12-60mm f2.8-4 OIS DG for $2600

If you are/were planning to get both the Panasonic GH5 camera, and the Panasonic-Leica 12-60mm f2.8-4 OIS DG Vario-Elmarit, Panasonic created a bundle of the two of them for $2600. The GH5 goes for $2000 on its own, and the lens goes for $1000 on its own, so the bundle is at the moment $400 in savings.

And the GH5 with 12-60mm kit is now in-stock and ready to ship for $2600 (technically $2598) at B&H Photo and by various at Amazon.

Fuji X-A3 with 16-50 and 50-230 for $699

The Fuji X-A3 with the 16-50mm lens goes for $599 at authorized dealers [see also the “Take Pictures With” section of the Mirrorless Price Charts], but for a limited time, an extra $100 can get you the two lens kit with the XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens for $699 total at B&H Photo. The offer is good for all three X-A3 body colors, but the 50-230mm lens is silver no matter what body color you select. The lens goes for $399 on its own.

But wait, there’s more! If you like some free accessories as well, Adorama includes a Lowepro shoulder bag, 16GB SD card, 58mm filter kit, Corel software and more for the same price of $699 in all three colors.

However, if you don’t want the 50-230mm lens, and you don’t want the extra accessories, and you are comfortable with used cameras, then:

Free Fuji 35mm f2 R WR Prime Lens with Fuji X-T1 Camera Kit purchase [corrected]

CORRECTION: this is an f2, not f2.8 lens. The “R” confused me into thinking f2.8 🙂

Fuji temptation time! All four of the official Fuji X-T1 kits currently get a FREE Fuji 35mm f2 WR lens with purchase! The free lens will be included automatically by B&H Photo while this promotion is running. You know the promotion is running when you see the lens mentioned in the individual product page of each lens.

The four kits participating are the X-T1 body only for $800, the X-T1 with 18-55 for $1200, and the X-T1 with 18-135 for $1400. Also participating is the X-T1 Graphite body only for $1000.

But wait, there’s more! The free lens is also offered on some of the bundles with free accessories. The X-T1 Graphite Body for $1000 gets the 35mm f2 WR along with an extra Watson battery, a 16GB SD card, a holster bag, and a cleaning kit.

A similar set of freebies is included with the X-T1 body only for $800, and so is the X-T1 with 18-135mm for $1400.

NOTE: some of the kits mentioned above earn 4% promotional rewards as well. Most of the kits that include free accessories don’t get 4% promotional rewards, except for the Graphite. Considering the price of the cameras, you can trade-off whether you want 4% to spend in the future or get the extra accessories. The free lens is included in all the kits while this promotion is running.

Panasonic GX85 w/12-32 for $500 spreads

The Panasonic GX85 with 12-32mm dropped to $498 like Cinderalla last night at B&H Photo. But the sale is spreading across the interwebs, as of the time of writing, it also goes for $498 at Adorama and by various at Amazon.

PS: if you are a Prime member, and you pay with either the Prime Store Credit Card or the Amazon Chase VISA credit card, you earn a 5% statement credit on the purchase. This covers all Amazon purchases, they don’t have to be sold and shipped by Amazon itself. Prime subscriptions too earn 5% statement credit.

… B&H Photo will be offering the Panasonic GH4 with 12-35mm f2.8 for $1495 with free shipping. The price before the sale is $2095, so that’s a pretty nice combined purchase discount for a PRO zoom lens and a previous generation flagship M43rds camera!

The sale price will go live after 12:01am ET on Friday 12/21/17. This is a heads-up so you can deliberate and read reviews for camera and lens and check out samples and such.

Panasonic 20mm f1.7 II with Extras for $268

One of the earlier prime lenses in the world of Panasonic Micro Four Thirds was the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake lens. Since lens, Panasonic’s iHOP released version II, and this lens is on sale for $268 with free shipping at Adorama which also includes these free accessories: Slinger lens pouch, 46mm ProOptic lens filters kit, Corel software bundle, lens wrap (sorry, you have to write your own lens rap song), and cleaning kit.

Free Teleconverter (your choice of 1.4X or 2X) with Fuji 100-300mm purchase at $1899

Fuji’s serious cameras are known for their primes, but they have zoom lenses too! To further encourage photographers to give their zoom lenses a chance, Fuji is encouraging authorized dealers to include a FREE Fuji teleconverter with the purchase of the Fujifilm XF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens. The bundles sell for the same price of $1899 with free shipping.

Select Fuji X-T2 kits bundled with Battery Grip with combined purchase discount

The Fuji X-T2 camera is not discounted. Camera manufacturer manufacturers are very protective of their price ranges in the MAP era after all. But if you happen to want to buy both the camera and its official battery grip at the same time, four of the four Fuji X-T2 kits are bundled together with the official Fuji VPB-XT2 Vertical Power Booster Battery Grip at B&H Photo at these prices:

+ X-T2 body with Grip for $1699
+ X-T2 w/18-55 and Grip for $1999
+ X-T2 w/35mm and Grip for $1996
+ X-T2 w/18-55 and 35mm and Grip for $2296

But wait, there’s more! The first two kits mentioned above (the two standard ones) are also offered at Adorama at the same prices, BUT Adorama includes additional freebies with purchase: 32GB Lexar SD, 24/7 holster bag, Corel software bundle, lens filter kit, and a few accesso-trinkets.

Still Good: Panasonic GX85 with 12-32mm and $100 Gift Card for $598

As of a 7/17/17 update, the used deals of cameras in the Stock Status Tracker have sold out, but this new condition Panasonic GX85 promotion at Adorama continues…

As you can see at our Mirrorless Price Chart, there are many and more both M43rds and mirrorless camera options in general. One can spend literally weeks and weeks deliberating on which system(s) and which camera(s) and which lens(es) and so forth.

One of the choices is back on a bundle again, it is the new condition Panasonic GX85 with the 12-32mm lens, bundled with a $100 Adorama gift certificate, all together going for $598 with free shipping. No coupon, no rebate, just add to cart and checkout. This is available in both the silver GX85 kit and the black GX85 kit.

And if this is your first foray into M43rds, you may be interested in some of the manufacturer refurbished Olympus prime lenses offered at the official Olympus USA store.

Speaking of Adorama, if you feel like deal fishing over there in an immersion session, check our earlier Adorama post.

(ENDED) YI M1 with 12-40 M43rds Camera for $239 [ends by 10:25am ET]

This early morning lightning deal expired…

Ending by 10:25am ET in the Amazon Gold Box is the YI Technology M43rds sale that was promised and it’s pretty good for the YI M1 with 12-40mm going for $239~ with free shipping in the aforelinked black or silver color schemes. Limit one per color per customer. This was going for $300 before the sale, and $350 before Prime Day week. So it’s a pretty good discount… PS: there is also the two lens kit for $303~, so decisions-decisions.

Lensbabies Velvet 56 for $450 [corrected]

Just like most babies (except perhaps Gilly’s baby), the Lensbabies are growing up in size and in cost. Their Velvet 56, available for various DSLR and mirrorless systems is now going for $450 at Adorama and by various at Amazon.

CORRECTION: blog-post title initially showed price as $50. It is/was $450. Probably cause of typo: the dollar-sign being shift-4.

(ENDED) Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine DS (Sony E) for $240

This lightning deal expired but Rokinon lenses are recurring at the Gold Box, so I’m sure more of them will return at unspecified points in time in the future…

Oops, this one was hidden in the convoluted way Amazon product pages with multiple options are presented. Also good until 2:15am ET on Saturday is the Sony E mount version of the Rokinon Cine DS DS85M-NEX 85mm T1.5 AS IF UMC Full Frame Cine Wide Angle Lens for Sony E for $240 with free shipping.

YI M1 w/12-40mm for $299 or add 45mm f1.8 for $379 total [M43]

YI is taking Prime Day seriously with actual discounts, unlike many of the MAP-obsessed more famous iLC camera manufacturers. Their YI M1 with 12-40mm Micro Four Thirds camera is now on sale for $299 instead of its regular price of $350 in the silver or black color schemes by YI with the orders fulfilled by Amazon, so they are Prime eligible.

Their two other kits are also discounted (two lens kit, or with 42.5mm f1.8 instead of 12-40). The best bang for the buck is the YI M1 with 12-40mm and 45mm f1.8 for $379, so essentially $80 more gets you the 45mm f1.8 lens added to your bundle.

+ these are open to everyone, they are not restricted to Prime members!

Olympus 12-40mm f2.8 with $32 Rewards for $800 [M43]

After the Prime Day madness I will be making adjustments so I can better track the various Camera and Lens Instant Savings promotions. The July 2017 Price Charts were the first step. Until then, it’s helter skelter…

… which brings us to the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens going for $800 with free expedited shipping at B&H Photo along with 4% promotional rewards ($32~ to be spent in the future at B&H).

Pre-order new Leica TL2 Mirrorless

It’s new camera time! Leica has officially announced the new TL2 mirrorless camera, with a 24mp APS-C sensor and Leica L-Bayonet Mount. It is available in the two customary Leica black and silver color schemes, with a pre-order price of $1950 at B&H Photo.

This new mirrorless camera now “evens the score” as we have 7 new DSLRs and 7 new Mirrorless cameras in 2017. There’s still plenty of time until the end of the year. But there is no Photokina this year, so we may need a penalty shootout if it ends up being a tie 😉

(ENDED) Rokinon 14mm F2.8 Full Frame Auto Focus Lens for Sony E-Mount for $489

This Prime-Day offer expired…

We have another serious lens in the Prime Day Lightning Deals, ending by 11:19pm ET on Tuesday, the Rokinon 14mm F2.8 Full Frame Auto Focus Lens for Sony E-Mount going for $489 with free shipping. The price before the sale is $659. This is only available for the Sony E system. Yes, this is an Auto Focus lens, a miracle of modern Rokinon engineering 🙂

(ENDED) Samyang 12mm f2 for $254 (Sony E)

This offer ended…

Another one of today’s busy Lightning Deals of the Amazon Gold Box is currently live, good until 2:05pm ET today, the Samyang SY12M-E-BK 12mm F2.0 Ultra Wide Angle Lens for Sony E is on lightning deal for $254~ in the silver color scheme. The listing for the black color scheme appears to be confused (most likely sold out) in terms of the lightning deal offer. The price before the sale was $319 last night.

(ENDED) Rokinon 135mm f2 for $375 (Sony E-mount) [ends Mon 2pm ET]

This offer ended…

The Gold Box widget had pointed to the Canon EF version of the Rokinon 135mm f2 lens when I posted the Lightning Deals schedule last night, but now that the promotion has gone live, it turns out it is ONLY the Sony E-mount version that is a lightning deal, going for $375 with free shipping until 2:05pm ET today! Since it is “hidden” like that from Gold Box viewers, it has no chances of selling out before its expiration 🙂
