PRO TIP: another quick way to check the longer-running Woot deals is to skim around their Top 100 Best Sellers

Wedn: Tokina 24-70mm f2.8 PRO FX for $599 [Canon], Etc

Hooray, hooray it’s a LENS DAY at the B&H daily deals, more specifically for Canon EF fans [and those with the appropriately compatible adapters), it is the new condition Tokina 24-70mm f2.8 PRO FX going for $599 with free US shipping. Only the Canon EF is on sale, not the Nikon…

Also happening today:

+ 2pk of 64GB Sony CFast 2.0 G Series Memory Cards for $150

+ ManFrotto Pro Light Reloader Air-50 Carry-On Camera Roller Bag for $140

+ GenAray Spectro LED 800B1 Bi-Color Studio LED Light for $279

All the above are good until Wednesday 8/26/20 at 11:59pm ET [or earlier for anything that sells out ahead of its designated time]…

PS: I double-checked, it is indeed Tokina, not Tamron 🙂

UPDATE: in other deal du jour action, at the Best Buy offers you can haz the 512GB Sandisk Extreme microSDXC (A2, U3, V30, UHS-I, Z5, Y65, N-I-34, RR44, etc) for $120 with the usual Shutterfly freebie/coupon…

Among the Woot dailies they have the Essential 360 camera (with its matching case) going for $140 [under “Electronics”] {the Essential was a flash-in-the-pan Android phone}, while at “Computers” they have 12.5″ Mobile Pixels portable monitors for $200… I am a big fan of ChromeBooks [despite Google’s data-creepiness] but the offer under “Clearance” for $150 is a BAD ONE!. It’s an old refurbished 11.6″ Samsung Chromebook with 2GB RAM, no touchscreen, 16GB on-board storage, old Exynos 5250 processor, ports on the back instead of the sides, no more OS updates [platform expired already in 2018]. This was my first Chromebook purchased *GASP* eight years ago, but despite the emotional attachment (?!?!?!?!) it’s a big NO for 2020 [there are so many newer options out there!].

UPDATE #2: the current Adorama daily deal (changes Thursday 10am ET) is the Green Extreme CB12 Compact Battery Pack for Sony Flashes offered for $20 with free US shipping….

Fuji instax SHARE SP-3 Smartphone Printer for $85 [ends Wedn 10am ET]

Print time! The current Adorama daily deal [changes Wednesday at 10am ET] is the new condition Fuji instax SHARE SP-3 Smartphone Printer offered for $84.49 with free US shipping in your choice of black or white printer-color scheme.

Tuesday Ride the P(o)NY: SD, microSD, Flash Drives, RAM, Etc

It’s time to … Ride the P(o)NY at the Amazon Gold Box with a sale of PNY storage options with PNY Elite PRO microSDXC cards going from 128GB to 512GB, lower tier microSDs at 16GB, a 3-pack of 16GB Class 4 (SAD!) of either SDHC or microSD going for $9, a $17 120GB internal SSD, 3-packs and 10-packs of USB 2.0 [SAD!] flash drives for $10 and $30 respectively, RAM sticks, and a tiny 512GB USB 3.1 flash drive for $80.

But those USB 2.0 drives may be handy considering the low price if you are giving them to people for free, eg with their pictures on them 🙂

Other storage action:

+ 12TB WD EasyStore external USB 3.0 for $190 at the Best Buy dailies

+ 256GB TeamGroup microSD for $26 at NewEgg dailies

+ and if you like British-style tea, whether you are burning the midnight Photoshop oil or locked up inside in Quarantine, one of the Woot Top Sellers right now is a 100-pack of Yorkshire Red Tea Bags for $3.50. That’s 3.5 cents per cup of tea!
+ this is a longer-running sale, not a daily deal; up to six 100-packs per customer
+ just so it’s clear, this is (what the western world) calls Black Tea. The Red is part of the Taylors of Harrogate branding; although it just coincides in this case with (what Chinese call) Red Tea [hong]. The term Black tea in chinese tea is reserved for Dark Teas (Heicha, Puerh, etc)

Tuesday: Capture ONE PRO 20, Tamrac Anvil, Sandisk Reader, Etc

Tuesday 8/25/20 brings us a six-pack of B&H daily deals good until 11:59pm ET [or earlier for anything that may sell out ahead of its designated expiration time]:

+ Tamrac Anvil T0375 M.A.S & M.O.L.L.E Modular Accessory Slim Belt (Medium) for $8

+ Sandisk Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Reader $70 minus 42% in-cart coupon
+ the reviewers don’t seem to like it though

+ EDELKRONE SliderPLUS Long (21″) for $359

+ also IDX battery and A&K audio player
