12-month Creative Cloud Subscription (all tools, not just Photography CC) for $30/month [Prime Deal]

It’s cloud busting time! For Prime members, Amazon-Adobe are DRMing offering this 12-month subscription offer: Adobe Creative Cloud (the whole set of tools, not just the Photography CC) along with 100GB of Cloud for $30 per month. After the 12 months are over, it will auto-renew at the going rate of the time of renewal (so pay attention at renewal time if you don’t want it to auto-renew). The price for non-Prime members is $53/month.

Amazon’s product pages can be quite busy, so I’ve annotated the parts to pay attention to. Sometimes the “Prime deal” is written with smaller print and it can easily get lost in the chaos of the ever-expanding product page:

Yeehao Wide-Angle Camera Type Thing for $101 {ends 12:15pm ET} [Prime Deal]

A second camera is currently live in the Prime Deals. In addition to the previously mentioned Canon SL2 deal, there’s also a lightning deal on a lesser known product, a curiosity of sorts, the new condition YeeHao Wide Angle Camera going for $102, also part of the PRIME deals. It is 70% claimed as of 7am ET and it expires at 12:15pm ET (or earlier if sold out).

IT is the first time I’ve seen this, so I know nothing (Jon Snow) about it. It averages 4.1 out of 5 based on 103 customer reviews with a 81% of them being 5-stars and 14% of them being 1-stars. Gallery picture #2 over there has a diagram of the camera to help you get started with it. The rotating LCD display and the add-on lenses create the illusion of a mirrorless camera to those looking at it for the first time (eg moi) 🙂

[DEAD?] Canon SL2 Body for $314, with 18-55 STM for $384 [ends 5:30pm ET] {Prime Deal}

UPDATE 9am eastern: it looks like this deal is over. It either sold out or ended. It didn’t have a ticking clock or percentage-claimed like most lightning deals do. It was one of those semi-daily type of deals that usually appear during the holidays and on special events like Prime Day. I will monitor the situation and post an update if it returns…

These was an unannounced deal, as it is often the case when the Gold Box has name-brand and high-value type of products. Otherwise everyone will be sitting on their PC waiting and it will all be gone within 60 seconds 🙂

These too are part of the Prime Day deals. If you are not a Prime member and you must have it, you can always start a free 30-day Prime Trial and leave a note/alert in your calendar to cancel before the expiration. Although what Amazon is counting on is that you are gonna get hooked on the free 2-day delivery and the music and video streaming services and the ebook reading services and the million (seemingly) other Prime Benefits…

NOTE that the SL2 is now the “previous generation” model. The Canon SL3 is the latest model which goes for $550 body only or $650 with the 18-55 lens. Almost twice the price.
