No Pre-Orders Yet: new Sigma ART 105/1.4 and 70/2.8 MACRO
Sigma revealed two new ART series Prime lenses but they are not available for pre-ordering yet. However, B&H Photo has created a introductory pages for them with all their currently available details. They are:

Petcube Bites Wifi Pet Camera for $100 (Treasure Truck)
Amazon has a million different ways of shopping these days. If you want to chase around town Amazon’s Treasure Truck, its current offer is the Petcube Bites Wifi Pet Camera for $100. You can only get to this from the official Amazon app, not their website. Then reserve it and claim it from the treasure truck. Eventually the treasure truck offers will also move to Whole Foods stores, much easier to find and they rarely move 🙂

Tokina Firin 20mm f2 Manual Focus (Sony E) for $699
Among the latest new Lenses announced is an autofocus version of the Tokina Firin 20mm f2 FE (Sony E system) lens, with the “AF” designator added to the model name. No price/availability details yet but B&H Photo has created a product page for it.

PSA: new eBay user agreement taking effect 3/30/18
On the shopping news front, Amazon is buying doorbell company Ring for over a billion. Another day, another acquisition for the “bookseller” 🙂
Meanwhile eBay is informing users via email that a new User Agreement will go in effect on March 30 (2018) and effectively immediately for new users. I have not read/compared the before/after agreements but the eBay email describes the changes as:
“The key updates to the eBay User Agreement reflects the company’s continuing transition towards a product-based shopping and selling experience.”

No Pre-Orders yet: new Canon D-Rebel T7 and 4000D
DSLRs have just scored two goals thanks to Canon! Canon revealed two entry-level Digital Rebels this week, the D-Rebel T7 (2000D), a follow-up to the good old T6, and an even more entry-level model, the 4000D which so far has only been announced in Europe. The D-Rebel T7 with come out with the 18-55 kit lens and a starting price of $550. Pre-orders are not accepted (not that anyone should pre-order them at this price).
Nevertheless, DSLRs will take any and all new models at the moment as they are trailing mirrorless cameras 7-3 among the New Cameras of 2018.
