Refurbished Tamron Lenses (14 options)

It turns out there are more refurbished Tamron lenses at Adorama. As of the time of writing, 14 options are available in various combinations of lens and system. Most of them are zooms, except for the 90mm. You can use the listing options over there at Adorama to filter by price or mount. Prices range from $180 to $899. They get a 90-day warranty.

As usual, price-check the lenses if you are not familiar with their price range, as sometimes the new vs refurbished vs used prices may not be in-sync or appropriately staircases. Don’t forget to also price-check at KEH Camera which offers a 180-day warranty.

Note also that Tamron offers a six year warranty on new condition Tamron USA lenses, so that’s something to factor in the price difference if you are a fan of included manufacturer warranties.

Refurbished Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 DI LD for $534 (Sony A)

In new condition, the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 DI LD (IF) Macro lens goes for $769 in the four major DSLR systems (Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony A) at authorized dealers such as B&H Photo.

But if you are comfortable with refurbished, the Sony Alpha version is available in refurbished by Tamron condition at Adorama for $534 with free shipping and a 90-day Tamron USA warranty.

Refurbished lenses are NOT eligible for the Tamron Lens VIP Owner program.

Tamron SP 150-600mm F5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 for $1199 after $100 MIR
+ Amazon itself in Canon mount and Nikon mount for $1199 after $100 MIR
+ $1299 after $100 MIR for the Sony A mount

+ the price is $1299 after the $100 MIR at Adorama with FREE 95mm UV filter and $56 rewards and B&H Photo with $56 rewards (C/N/A on same listing)

+ the Sony A is NOT stabilized (not VC)

Rebate details
If buy from a retailer that has an open marketplace like Amazon, make sure Amazon itself is the seller. If buying from retailers that also sell imported, and used and refurbished, make sure the version you buy is new condition with Tamron USA warranty.
