Refurbished Canon D-Rebel T6S with 18-135mm for $549

Some people recommend getting the 18-135mm Canon lens instead of the 18-55 lens, but the price between the two parallel kits can be cost prohibitive for some. However, a compromise is here, the official Canon USA Outlet store is offering the manufacturer refurbished Canon D-Rebel T6S with f3.5-5.6 IS STM for $549~ with free shipping and a 1-year Canon USA warranty and a free Magnifier MG-Ef. It is in-stock as of the time of writing.

In new condition, this kit goes for $1000, such as Adorama and Amazon itself.

The D-Rebel T6S is on its way out. In price comparison, the T6S body only went for $700 in new condition at authorized dealers in early November when we posted the APS-C dSLR Price Charts.

Duracell 1c After Rewards Battery Offers is back

This week’s Office Depot Rewards offers running until Saturday 12/2/17 close of business include the return of the Duracell 1c After Rewards offers. As before, you can buy one or two 16-packs of Duracell Alkaline single-use AA or AAA batteries.

You pay full price ($15.99 per 16-pack), making sure your rewards account is in your online profile (if buying online) or you show your rewards card (or enter your phone number) if buying at the store. A few weeks later you will receive Office Depot-Max rewards of $15.98 in your online account per 16-pack. Sales-tax is not included in the rewards amount, that’s out of your pocket.

On the same Office Depot Rewards offers page you will also notice a similar 1c after rewards offer for Bose X-9 copy paper, and other rewards-y offers for other brand copy papers as well.

Please note that the combined Office Depot-Max rewards cannot be rolled like the old Office Max Rewards. You have to spend “fresh money” on these batteries if you want to get rewards back.

Sony a7r III not out yet

If you missed it earlier today, you can rewatch it at any time, the previously mentioned 1-hour 5-person panel by B&H Photo on the Sony a7r III camera.

There was a November 30 in-stock estimated date mentioned a couple of weeks ago, before the Black-Cyber Friday-Monday madness began.

The camera itself, as of the time of writing, is not in-stock. At Amazon by Amazon itself it is in the ubiquitous “temporarily out of stock” status. At Adorama it is in pre-order status and so is at B&H Photo. It is currently ranked the #1 new release in Mirrorless Cameras, but before you schedule a victory parade, keep in mind that Amazon’s rankings are only as good as their product categorization and classification :
