Various Sales Round-up: 8-slot Ansmann Powerline Battery Charger for $26 [also: Manfrotto, Case Logic, Acer 23.8″ for $135]

On the battery charging front, the 8-slot ANSMANN Powerline Battery Charger is currently on sale for $26~ at Amazon by Amazon itself. You can charge 1 to 8 AA or AAA batteries. It averages 4.8 out of 5 based on 12 reviews. It also has a USB charging socket (powering the charger via USB). Free shipping for Prime members, or with a $35+ order for non-Prime.

While we are at Amazon, the Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster is on sale for $25~, with the same free shipping terms as usual (see above).

Also while digging into their various sales there, the new condition Manfrotto MK290DUA3-BHUS 290 Dual Ball Head Kit (Black) is on sale for $200 with free shipping.

More digging, this brand new 23.8-inch Acer R240HY computer monitor goes for $135 with free shipping. It is an IPS 1920 x 1080 with three inputs (HDMI, DVI-D, VGA – see picture #4). It is currently the best seller among new Monitor releases over there.

If you are comfortable with imported (grey market, non-NikonUSA warranty) camera gear, eBay Deals have a temptation for you. Seller “GetItDigital” (99.7%) is offering the new condition Nikon D810 Body Only for $2100 with free shipping, with a limit of five per customer. Over 610 units got sold so far from this listing. You get a 1-year warranty from the seller GetItDigital, not from Nikon USA!

In comparison, at authorized Nikon dealers, the D810 body only goes for $2800 with a boatload of accessories at B&H Photo and Adorama and Amazon (no free accessories at the moment).

Corel Sale: AfterShot 2 Pro for $50 or non-Pro for $25

The Corel Store has a new round of sales of their software. The sale includes the Aftershot Pro 2 for $50 full version or $39 as a qualifying upgrade. Meanwhile the AfterShot 2 (not Pro) goes for $25 in the full version. You can make adjustments in the shopping cart for different options (disc backup, cloud backup, etc).

The aforelinked Corel Store offers free 30-day trials of their software and apparently Amazon has also expanded into software free trials, eg AfterShot Pro 2. I haven’t done one of the Amazon Free Trials yet, so I can’t tell you what the free-trial-flow is.
