The new Nikon D850 is coming later this year for $3300 [see Stock Tracker for options]. The existing Nikon D810 goes for $2800 in new condition at authorize dealers…
… but if you prefer to get it refurbished from an A-list dealer, you can get it refurbished at B&H Photo for $2199 with free shipping with a 90-day warranty (I think the warranty is from B&H, not Nikon).
Strategically, it’s not a bad idea, if you are going for the previous generation model, to get it refurbished or used, when the price difference between the new condition models is closer.
